Damn. I was hoping we could keep winning but not even a draw. I shall read these comments and the match report but a quick glance sees we didn't play well and deservedly lost....Need to just try and forget this one and move on, games quick and fast so not long to wait to bounce straight back to winning ways.

Infantile.

So petty and pathetic.

Just a bad night at the office too many didnt perform and they made it hard for us, we go again and if we are this far behind at 40 games then I'll worry,
Will say it again Kamara is all fur coat and no knickers,

Felt we lacked a bit of leadership tonight and they wanted it more

No need to panic but I’d play Gnonto next game

I remember watching the defeat to Sunderland in the FA Cup final (yep, that old!). It's silly, but because of that defeat - one of our most painful ever - losing to Sunderland still rankles.

Unless we go on a remarkable unbeaten run till the end of the season I think Ipswich and Leicester are likely to be top 2 and I can see us playing Sunderland again in the play offs. Disappointment clouding my negative prediction but 10 points behind Ipswich and likely to be 11 behind Leicester after 21 games seems a big ask to get automatic promotion but hope I'm wrong.

Willy was great when he came on.

Changes were far too late for me.

As we know, it's not us who are poor - the top two are just performing phenomenally.

also too many like for like changes or blind panic throwing everyone up front.
Sometimes a change of formation might do the trick

How about we beat them both at home and one of them takes six points off the other? It will look different then.

A long way to go yet!

Ipswich play both us and Leicester soon, that gap on those games alone could close it by 6.

Season isn't won or lost in December and neither is promotion.

Seems too many on here are in denial, far more sense being spoken on "Not 606"

Very disappointing night. Everyone seemed below par and Sunderland did a great job on us. Leicester and Ipswich have created new records for the Championship. No other clubs have had so many points at this stage of the season and, apparently, Leeds’ total (before this game) was 4 points better than Burnley’s last season after same amount of games. We just have to hope the lads can bounce back at the weekend.

Yeah I know guys we can still do it and if I remember correctly in Bielsa's first season we were a similar distance ahead of Shef Utd and in the second half of the season they overtook us fairly comfortably but tonight we just looked like a tired side compared to Sunderland and January needs to see 2 or 3 addictions and also I thought the balance of the side without Byram wasn't good so the quicker he returns the better.

Wow Stoopo - that's a dubious distinction. That kind of defeat wouldn't hurt so much nowadays but back then the FA Cup was considered to be almost as important as winning the title

Yes subs were far too late. Kamara and Ampadu look knackered but we dont really have an alternative in cm. Gnonto deserves a start.

Back then you had the European cup and the european cup winners cup!..

That's when the Champions were Champions and not like todays farce and a reason the cup was more thought off!..

Oh yeah we were 10 ahead of blades after 24 games

Even the following season us and wba looked comfortable after the new year draw and by February it was all to play for again. wba took until last game to secure 2nd and it was handed to them on last day!

Yep the fat lady hasn't even done her warm up vocals yet so plenty of games but it still hurts when we lose and everything seems bleak when you see Ipswich have won yet again but a good performance and victory on Saturday will soon get us back on track and the optimism flowing again.
