Yes, but that was mostly before Rodgers took over.

Apparently Ange said recently that he felt he'd never have gotten a chance to do anything in the CL. I take that as being told we won't ever speculate, not even a bit and i think we are seeing that. Quality replaced by projects and sh!te. £2m gambles, loads of them

That's the thing. Ange made average /poor players half decent (Taylor) with good coaching and a clearly defined way of playing.

Rodgers has sent us backwards with sh1hte coaching, muddled instructions to players and hard to read playing style. How else can you explain Kyogo's ineffectiveness..

That's how it looks from the outside. Someone (Ginger?) got it bang on.......he was once an elite coach. Not any more

Tbh, I think after that, somebody told him "gonnae no say that". Something you can't do with Rodgers.

Struggle to see how even a couple of players change the malaise.

Couple of things about today. Watching the runs some players make, Kyogo and Maeda in particular. Seeing them frustrated when we then just pass back. Then seeing Ralston gesture to Maeda to run somewhere after being the one to pass sideways when Maeda made such a run. Feck right off. We have too many players that need 3, 4, 5 touches before making a decision. Inferior players are in no position to point and blame ffs
