good win and played well in parts. Chelsea are a shambles thankfully. Some suicidal stuff at both ends
Doc up front wouldn't be a bad idea.
Should shut the pant wetters up on the MolMix thread about Nuno.
Thought we defended really well today, organisationally at least when we weren't making silly errors. Lemina had a great game and really deserved his goal. And great to see a defender score one at last eh?
Did also think we were lucky with a few decisions that went our way but will take that after some of the appalling rubbish we've had to put up with from referees.
Merry Christmas lads, off to the pub to celebrate 🍾 🍻
Great result, rode our luck at times, Chelsea a mess.
Docherty as a focal point upfront not a bad shout Cinci. He can head a ball and cool as a cucumber for his goal.
Hwang got into good situations, then panics and falls over. Best ref we have had so far, not taken in by some of Chelsea’s antics.
Poor first half but much better after the break when we pressed the Chelsea defence more and realised they had as many mistakes in them as we did. We certainly rode our luck at times and Chelsea missed some good chances. Telling that the Chelsea fans cheered when their striker Jackson was taken off.
Lemina and Gomes were at the heart of our win. Mario was excellent and lost count of the number of tackles Gomes won second half, although he did present Sterling with a clear chance in the first half that Sa saved. Raheem is certainly good at diving and feigning injury but his end product isn’t so good.
Toti much better today, Semedo really good, Sarabia and Cunha good in parts but if he doesn’t score Hwang offers next to nothing. Dawson will evidently be ok for the next game despite having a deep cut on his knee that caused the ref to add on a nervy 11 minutes at the end.
All helps towards a merry Christmas.
Very poor first 25 minutes, but our commentators mentioned that O'Neil told RAN to go down, so that he could pass fresh instructions to the lads. After that we were much better. Lucky to get away with a couple of chances Chelsea had and good to hear Sterling get some stick. Have to agree that Hwang offers very little, if he doesn't score and should have done better on a few occasions.
Lemina my MoM by far.
Good 3 points and I hope that the doubters on here can give O'Neil a break. Well done lads.
Good job Hwang scores more than anyone else then.
Said before that Joao Gomes is probably my favourite player these days. He covers so much ground and the amount of tackles he makes without even committing a foul is unreal. I reckon he will be a superstar in a few years time.
Is that the same player who was suspended for the match against Arsenal for picking up 5 yellow cards.
Sunny
Playing as the DM yellows are to be expected so five really isn't that bad considering
He had more successful tackles today than anyone else on the pitch and didn't commit one foul.
Hwang is pretty crap though. If the goals dry up he offers nothing really.

Same with a lot of strikers.
Real positive today that in Sarabia delivers really good corners. Something we haven’t seen from Wolves players for a long time. And it lead to our first goal
yeah corners were great today at times
Trouble is, he probably won't start if Neto is back soon.
Sarabia has always been good on set pieces. Then he randomly couldn't beat the first man the other week. Makes me wonder whether it was an overworked routine looking for a near post flick on that day.

Yeah, will be a disaster to get our assist leader back who has 4 assists from set pieces. Not sure how we'll cope.
And we nearly got a goal from one our defenders today. Toti heads straight at the 'keeper.
Thought Kilman was awful today and nearly good for two goals......for them.
Kilman was mainly at fault for the goal. Nkunku was his man in the box. Doherty switched off and a Chelsea man ghosted into the box off the back of him. Kilman stepped into no man's land rather than going with the bigger danger and couldn't get back to Nkunku to challenge, leaving him with a free header.
So Doherty partially at fault for allowing an extra man into the area, but Premier League centre back should know the greater danger is the man nearest the ball. Kids get trained that at junior level.
Kilman was disappointing again today, for me he has been poor for most of the season. His positional sense has let him down and he has been rescued by Dawson many times.

Is Doherty not a defender then boss?
Agree that Gomes was Brill today, rarely seen him have a bad game at home, if he can keep these levels up he should get a good number of caps for Brazil.
