Aberdeen are preparing themselves for interest from clubs in Europe for Bojan Miovski but will want more than £5m for the striker.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And more power to their elbow.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's a great player. Hopefully there's a few bids for him and the Dons get some decent cash.

Sounds perfect for the English Championship where Ross Stewart is a £10m player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

At £5m there’s every chance it would work well for all parties.

Can easily see Hearts demanding something north of £6m to make it worth their while over Shankland. And they’d be right to.

Which puts him well out of reach for various reasons for any Scottish club.

we cant even afford to buy the players in our own league now !!

Was thinking about the McKenna to Celtic rumours, because my first reaction is feck no! But, we are so weak at set-pieces that we nedd someone who will just go in there and head clear. Alongside CCV maybe not a bad option? Don't get me wrong, I want footballers, but it's something that needs addressed. Thoughts?

tbf I think Mckenna is better than Duffy, similar players but Duffy's lack of pace really exposed him at Celtic in a high line. Mckenna is a fair bit quicker than Duffy im sure.

He was, but untested in Scotland, McKenna isn't. Like I said, I wouldn't normally want that kind of player but we are sh!te at set-pieces. CCV is great, but he's a footballer and not much of a threat in the opposition's box. (Down Pointy!)

manager talks about wanting quality, needing quality to progress in europe, to be a better team.

if we sign, and he as he says "signs off" on mckenna then that tells you that they are fvckwits.

you don't get to sign off on players so you can moan about them.

i like the look of rocky so far, i think scales has more than earned his place.

the dread is that rodgers seemed to like him last time, for reference rodgers liked phillips and he thought boyata was baresi.

Agree 100% with your first paragraph. Really like Nawrocki and Scales has taken his chance well, but we are still very vulnerable at set-pieces. Phillips feck happened there? Tbf, Boyata would have been some player if he could concentrate

My first reaction was ‘feck no’ as well, and it still is! Whilst I totally agree we lack physicality as a squad (I’ve mentioned it often enough!), McKenna’s just too limited a footballer … as well as being seriously slow on the turn, from memory. We need to add height and physicality in other positions on the park … LB for starters, and maybe an ACTUAL defensive midfielder. For way too long now we’ve basically had our 2 CBs and that’s about it, when it comes competing aerially in both boxes. No surprise we’re useless in the air. Pep these days has 4 absolute units at the back (whoever he selects), Rodri in front, and Haaland up top.

So Dave's a no. In my defence, it's based on the option presented. I did say I want footballers 😄

Just think McKenna doesn’t have much else going for him bar his physicality, and obviously knowing the league. Likely to be over-priced coming from down South, technically (very) limited, one-paced, slow on the turn, and think he’s had a fair few injury issues too (hammy trouble?). Don’t think I was averse to signing him as a squad option BEFORE he moved South, but not convinced now. We need a quality starter.

Pretty misleading albeit as you say matters not a lot. The headlines implicate that somehow Rangers were denied being awarded a penalty. They weren’t. They were denied the opportunity to have a penalty decision given in their favour that would have been fairly quickly rescinded.

No idea why the SFA don’t release audio on contentious decisions.

Anything involving human interpretation as to whether an action is ‘deliberate’ or not is bound to be interpreted differently in other quarters. Whilst many might not be happy with a particular decision it at least gives a public version of why it was made.

Sakes

Now Rangers are insisting that Collum never sign referees any of their matches. (Allegedly)

Imagine trying to select officials based on them having a different opinion to you because they interpreted something a different way and in which case would never have mattered.

How utterly embarrassing
