It was well known he had issues with time keeping and attitude pre-utd, not something that just started whilst here, as elvis has pointed out.
Southgate and his coaching staff have spoken about the problem of Sancho sulking when he is not selected in the line-up and the negative impact it can have on the atmosphere in camp.
The issue dates back to Euro 2020 when he is said to have reacted petulantly to being left out of the squad for the opening group game against Croatia.
He started another five matches on the bench at the tournament because Southgate felt that Sancho's training levels were not up to scratch, the same issue now raised by Ten Hag.
His only call-up since then was in an experimental side for a World Cup qualifier against Andorra two years ago when Sancho was late for a team meeting and subsequently missed out on a place in Qatar.
Time-keeping has become a perennial problem for one of English football's hottest properties.
Sancho was voted player of the tournament when England Under 17s finished runners-up in the 2017 European Championship, and had already joined Borussia Dortmund for £8million after rejecting a new contract offer from Manchester City by the time England won the Under 17 World Cup later that year.
A few months on, Sancho and his former City team-mate Phil Foden were dropped from the England Under 19s side against Latvia after turning up late for a team meeting.
It was a recurring issue at Dortmund where manager Lucien Favre punished him on several occasions and dropped him for games against Barcelona and Borussia Monchengladbach.
Sancho was also fined by the German FA for breaking lockdown rules in order to get a haircut.
He just has to be smarter and grow up with things like that. You have to lead Jadon the right way,' lamented his team-mate Emre Can.
Okay Elvis, bravo for sending all of this. None of this proves he does not like football.
Cantona was troubled
Balotelli trouble
I can keep going numerous players that have issues with time keeping and conduct, which does not equal bloody the player does not like football.
We know what we have done with Jadon, we wanted him, we did absolutely everything, he decided to go to Germany, so all the best," he said. "He's doing really well, hopefully he can achieve what he was looking for.

The above range of comments from legends in Germany and also Guardiola himself. Two can play this game.
A load of cobblers. He's always had issues with commitment as evidenced. Now he's got his big contract he's slacked off even further. But of course you know more than the managers and players that work with him. A year's old quote from Pep means little.
Of course it means little because it does not suit your agenda. The quotes that you have posted tells us a better story of the player.

Pep's comment doesn't really mean much though, does it? Sancho has repeatedly shown a lack of discipline and work ethic under successive managers. That's not in dispute.
Pep saying a few nice words and wishing him well doesn't negate that.
I don't know whether Sancho cares about football. But we have plenty of evidence that he doesn't care enough to work hard at fulfilling his considerable talent and he'll be no loss to us.

He will definitely be a big loss to us seeing as we are selling at a considerable loss, and we resorted to doing loan deals this past summer just to adhere to FFP. A wayward view if you think spending this much on a player and losing him for next to nothing is no loss.

Sounds like one of those players not worth the problems. Better to take the loss and move on.

Pep got asked about a former player. What's he going to do? Slag him off? Say he had a bad attitude? List any discipline issues? Of course not. What would be the point? If Sancho has caused any issues at City there is no benefit in Pep slagging him off. His words are completely irrelevant.

Thats it in a nutshell. At one end of the spectrum you have Ronaldo. Dedicating his life to the game. Doing everything he can to be the best. Somewhere towards the other end of the spectrum you have Sancho. Late to meetings/training and prioritising playing computer games over getting sleep, keeping himself in good condition and earning the huge wage he is paid. If Scholay thinks that is the actions of someone that cares about football then he is even thicker than I thought. And I can guarantee that we won't win the league with players with that kind of attitude. I hope he takes a serious look at himself and can turn things around. But at the moment all I see is a waste of talent.

I'd actually have him ahead of Antony. If he could be mature enough to swallow his pride and apologise.
12 goals and 6 assists in 2 seasons and a few games of season 3.
Definitely up there with worst signings of all time with Antony.
