Of course it means little because it does not suit your agenda. The quotes that you have posted tells us a better story of the player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pep's comment doesn't really mean much though, does it? Sancho has repeatedly shown a lack of discipline and work ethic under successive managers. That's not in dispute.
Pep saying a few nice words and wishing him well doesn't negate that.
I don't know whether Sancho cares about football. But we have plenty of evidence that he doesn't care enough to work hard at fulfilling his considerable talent and he'll be no loss to us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats it in a nutshell. At one end of the spectrum you have Ronaldo. Dedicating his life to the game. Doing everything he can to be the best. Somewhere towards the other end of the spectrum you have Sancho. Late to meetings/training and prioritising playing computer games over getting sleep, keeping himself in good condition and earning the huge wage he is paid. If Scholay thinks that is the actions of someone that cares about football then he is even thicker than I thought. And I can guarantee that we won't win the league with players with that kind of attitude. I hope he takes a serious look at himself and can turn things around. But at the moment all I see is a waste of talent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very bizarre individual. Still rambling about utter nonsense you foolish idiot. But when all else fails and you can’t offer an answer following a wayward comment, resort to same old cliches.
Sancho is of course, in this generation, the only player playing video games. You’re in cuckoo land man.
And yes, I am “thick.” I care because Elvis on Ja606 who lines my pockets and pays my bills says so 🤣🤣
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You asked for evidence of the fact that he doesn't really care about football. I have provided you with plenty of examples showing that he has frequently fallen short of what is expected of a top footballer. The evidence is well documented since he was 18/19 years old. Nothing has changed. He hasn't matured. He is still falling short and sulking, feeling like he is the 'scapegoat' just like he did at Dortmund. He is currently not playing football due to an outburst directed at his manager and because he is too stubborn to apologise. He is happy picking up his huge wages and going through the motions.
I don't have any issue with Sancho or any other footballer playing on a console. But if he is staying up until 2/3am and then failing to get to training on time, it becomes an issue. You really shouldn't need this explaining to you if you.
My point remains, I don't think Sancho cares about football. Certainly not even to become a top player. A wishy washy comment from Pep 5 years ago doesn't erase his well documented lack of professionalism during that time. But keep coming with the waffling and insults. I'm here for it. I enjoy seeing you make an absolute fool ouf yourself.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I however will not support how we have handled this and the loss we are about to make when we part ways. Football is now the money game, so no matter how someone wants to marinade it, this is going to impact us on and off the field.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you were ETH, what would you have done when Sancho came out and made his comments? Take into consideration the fact that you had recently given him time off and a special training camp so that he could get himself right, and yet he still wasn't training properly.

Always enjoyable seeing Scholay get really angry and insulting just because someone else disagrees with him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is his default position. Someone has a difference of opinion, they must be a fool. Utterly bizarre. He must feel very insecure in real life to act this way.

Sancho does not care about football because of his stint at united.
Pogba the world cup winner does not care about football after his time at united.
Should I carry on...
Look at this rotten club where talent comes to die and wake up.

He’s been one of the most disappointing signings we’ve ever made for me as I’ve always been a huge fan. I didn’t expect him to keep up the same numbers he did at Dortmund but I’ve been shocked by how poor he’s been. Obviously there’s physical qualities that are lacking but the main issue is the mental side of his game isn’t good enough.

Try applying some thought before proceeding to gibberish land.
We have evidence of numerous players who were/are not professional, however this does not equate to ' they don't like this game.'
Heck Ronaldo, the player that you said is the ultimate professional, came out and said nearly this whole squad is a joke when it comes to professionalism, highlighting only Dalot as someone he feels will go far. Do you know more than Ronaldo Elvis who was inside that changing room?

He loves playing on the playstation. He has discussed it himself several times, as have some of his teammates. Sancho, Pogba, Rashford and Jesse often player together. He had openly said that he has a 'sleeping' problem. He has openly admitted that he hasn't always been professional enough. He has been spotted playing in the early hours. There are stories from his time at Dortmund that he kept turning up late to training due to his console addiction. I've even read that the assistant manager at Dortmund had to knock him up every morning to get him to training on time in the end. I mean, you can ignore all of that if you like...

And here you are throwing insults. Farcical for such a bright boy you are one slow imbecile.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny you have only concentrated on Pep comments. Standard Elvis, completely ignored all the praise he was getting whilst in Germany. Funnily enough, you posted comments also from his time in Dortmund. Someone make it make sense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean, my initial post said that he got his big contract and is set for life. Was his big contract at Dortmund? No, it was from United.
The evidence is there throughout his time at Dortmund that he isn't particularly professional. And that only seems to have got worse since he signed his big contract with United and is now set for life. Try reading what people write.

I don't understand what point you are trying to make? Where I have disagreed with what Ronaldo has said?
And I didn't say he didn't like the game. I said I don't think he cares about it. He's got his big pay day. He's set for life. Where is the motivation now?
I just hope that when ETH goes, which will surely be before the start of next season, that the new manager can motivate Sancho (if he's still here). But I won't hold my breath.

Again, I didn't say he doesn't like football. I said he doesn't care about it. I mean, I like my job, but I don't really care about it. If I could not work and still get paid I'd be happy with that.
Well, I genuinely don't understand that. I like my job and by default if I like the job I must care about it. I fail to see how you can separate the two. Sure, there are aspects of my job that I do not like and probably don't care if taken away.
One can argue most of our squad don't care about football then, as said actually by the man you said is the model professional.
" They don't care. I don't mean only mean Manchester United but all the teams, all the leagues in the world. They are not the same as my generation."
I would ask again do you know more than Ronaldo as you asked me do I know more than ETH, but what's the point.

Why must you care about something you like? I like Orange Club bars. Do I care about them? Not really. There are literally thousands of things that a like, but don't really care about. And I think that is where Sancho is at now. Does he like football? Probably. But he doesn't care about it enough to be the best that he can be? I don't believe that he does and there is evidence to back that. And that is the problem.
And yes, you can probably argue that a lot of our squad don't care about football. No idea why you have brought this up, as we are specifically discussing Sancho.
Have you answered my question yet on how you would have handled the situation had you been in ETH's position?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny you have only concentrated on Pep comments. Standard Elvis, completely ignored all the praise he was getting whilst in Germany. Funnily enough, you posted comments also from his time in Dortmund. Someone make it make sense.

Reports you have decided to run along with. Did you hear this from the manager?
A picture was posted once with his avatar name playing game until 2am.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He loves playing on the playstation.

Always enjoyable seeing Scholay get really angry and insulting just because someone else disagrees with him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is his default position. Someone has a difference of opinion, they must be a fool. Utterly bizarre. He must feel very insecure in real life to act this way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Look in the mirror. You feel the need to come here all high and mighty calling me thick, you do not see me running around crying. You have not moved on since I schooled you in business affairs, only one person here insecure.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. You started with the insults you plank. Like you always do. If you are going to take that approach day after day then expect to get some back.
2. What are you going on about schooling me on business affairs? You said similar a few weeks back. I lieterally have no idea what you are talking about.

I reiterate, I am not crying about it. waffling about insecurities. I was responding to you and 52. But hey, Elvis the psychologist can now diagnose insecurities, laughable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're default position is to insult people. That is standard practice for people with deep rooted insecutities. Carry on weasel knackers.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Try applying some thought before proceeding to gibberish land.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't understand what point you are trying to make? Where I have disagreed with what Ronaldo has said?
And I didn't say he didn't like the game. I said I don't think he cares about it. He's got his big pay day. He's set for life. Where is the motivation now?
I just hope that when ETH goes, which will surely be before the start of next season, that the new manager can motivate Sancho (if he's still here). But I won't hold my breath.

Elvis, let's agree to disagree and move on.
2024- I have zero intention staying here going back and forth all day.
You are right, he does not like football because he loves playing good old PS5.
