At least ours is the first of the two games.

Yep, the bloke has done nothing to warrant this type of retaining. Was looking forward to seeing the Turkish lad between the sticks but this manager just doesn’t have any idea on how to improve us.

That's like a darts player playing two matches in 24 hours like they are tonight. It's not the same as outfield players. It's like saying do a marathon two days in a row or go for a 5 mile walk two days in a row. Completely different.

Sounds like Timo Werner to Utd is very close.

ETH really is digging his own grave. Another forward player who can't score goals you say? Sign him up.

Werner can't miss if we don't create chance for him though.

Perhaps he'll do a Salah with us though. Flop at Chelsea and not stop scoring at United!

Jesse Lingard is probably available too...

That was going to be the one bright bit of this season getting rid of him for a few weeks. Ffs eth probably realises the turn is going to be way better and show Onana up, but does not want to admit he got it wrong

I'm fully prepared for him to make Onana look like Lev Yashin

*Surely* Bayindir gets to play against Wigan on Monday?

Would be quite mad not giving him any minutes at all for the entire season and then blooding him the second Onana goes away.

I do understand why ETH would want to allow his GK to play through his early struggles and find some form. He's actually been on a decent run, which is something he keeps doing; having a howler or two, then putting some solid performances together, then dropping a howler, then a few games of looking like a GK again. The time between howlers has been getting a little longer each time and he's in a decent spell at the moment. I've jinxed it now so I predict a clanger against Spurs before he vanishes for a few weeks.

Ten Hag is just delusional. Even in games where we are pants, he says we controlled it and played well. He probably thinks Onana is doing well, despite not getting close to the ball when he dives for it, and being the reason we are out of the CL.

I think the op needs to see how bad the reserve keeper is before making such bold posts.

Didn’t he already try that when going on about onana’s stats? If this decision is true, it’s bloody daft, unless he really thinks our reserve keepers are worse than onana, which isn’t possibly unless they are blind and have no arms

Onana is clearly our no1 and will play when available, it’s not even in debatable whether Bayindir is as good.

From the little I’ve read Bayindir is pretty sh-t, but I’m still surprised EtH hasn’t at least tried to bed him into the team with the odd cup game knowing he is going to have to play while Onana is away at the ACoN.

Still think we should have brought DDG back for the second half of the season on a short deal.

99.9% of the decisions that the bald fraud makes don't make sense. It really is quite baffling how he continues to be the manager of Manchester United.
It shows how embarrassing we've become as a club I'm afraid.

I don't think this is worth making such a fuss over. It's just a manager wanting his No1 keeper available for as long as possible.

Remember when he was bought he wasn't going to be playing for Cameroon. Hence why, IMO, it's an amicable thing.

I'd have given Bayindir game time by now in the Carabao perhaps but he knew when he signed he would be No2.

Was bayandir the main keeper at fenerbache or their reserve keeper?
