Basketball is the most infuriating sport I have ever watched. My daughter plays it and the rules are just so pedantic and make no sense. I’ve had to score a few times and I still don’t understand why you need to make the pointer face in different directions after the tip off. It makes absolutely no difference. Fouls for pushes given when there’s absolutely no contact. You’re not allowed to swat the ball away from the basket once it’s on its downward trajectory. I mean it’s all bullsh... But then there’s been quite a few times when my daughter’s team have won the game with seconds to spare and it is thrilling. Before Christmas they were two points down with a second to go and their best player scored a three pointer right on the buzzer. You can’t beat the for drama but it doesn’t make up for the previous 40 minutes of anger. 😂
