Meanwhile Spurs match going fans are running on the pitch to attack players and throwing bananas at black players.

Better fans my left ass cheek.

Ok, I take back that part of my comment and replace it with "this isn't the 80s anymore".

My point still stands.

I support Spurs by going to games because i enjoy the atmosphere when I go.

I like watching the Ryder Cup but don't consider myself a big golf fan because i don't go and watch it.

That's good for you. Obviously golf has millions of fans who've never attended a tour.

You support your team by going to games. Others support their team in whichever way they prefer, especial of they can't go to games.

By your logic, if you moved to another country for whatever reason you would cease to be a Spurs fan with any authority because you'd never be able to attend games?

ckneys.

Not just anyone, but 90% of the Liverpool posters on this board will have seen Liverpool live less times than me. I must have seen us against them at least 10 times live, they’ve been about 6 times between them these super fans

Not at all. He supports the team from the area where he’s from, he’d still be a spurs man if he moved away. What he didn’t do, was choose to support some team from the other end of the country, or a different country altogether, just because they were successful and he wanted to try and act like the big man by bragging about reflected glory while never extending any support beyond picking up the remote control.

And only 60,000 can follow a club from the stands.

I guess all clubs actually have around 60,000 real fans.

Not sure what you mean by ‘real fans’ but they’re more loyal than the ones who don’t go, absolutely.

It's fine not to go to games, it's not always easy or possible to get tickets and it's a global game now.

But it takes a special kindof bellllend to give it large about how great your club is when you've never even stepped inside your home stadium. Embarrassing really. .

So you can only support a club in your country? If that was true the Premier League would be the equivalent of the Outer Mongolia league.

You can't sell and market your league across the world, rake in billions from these fans to buy the best players on the world and then tell those fans that they're not even real fans.

This league makes more money from foreign income from fans who've never even been to England than local income. It doesn't belong to you anymore but you can keep telling yourself it still does if that makes you feel better.

NBA is big globally but you never see NBA fans telling other fans in other countries they're not real fans. It never happens in any other sport or even any other country.

Only in England with their pampered fans who are still deluded and haven't cottoned on to where football is now. They want it to be great and rich but still belong to them alone to the exclusion of all others.

Write to your club and tell them to stop selling games internationally and then enjoy watching league one level of football with players on 500 pounds a week.
