As i said earlier there's a couple of gobby caants off your board that give it the biggun non stop about Spurs being chit and us being chit fans.
Ask them how many games they've been to and they soon feck off.
It works.

I'm still here and still laughing at your trophy record 👍

Thanks for sharing with us how sad your life is.

I know right. This mug thinks he’s winning but the only other forum members with this level of pathetic, relentless obsession are Maf and Weekend Offender. If you think it’s a worthy thing to mirror the behaviour of such worthless, miserable, unbelievably thick sewage vermin like them then good luck to you but honestly these people are skum. Maf is a toilet attendant for TFL and WO loads lorries for a living, they are the sort of gutter dregs I throw a few nicker at to carry my bags or clean my motor - and this melt is happy to pigeon hole himself with them.

So you can't be a real fan unless you can afford a plane ticket and game ticket.
F1 has next to no fans therefore.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because football and F1 are the same
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They are the same in some ways and not in others. In the relevant context on this thread, they are the same. The point is following a club and being a fan doesn't entail compulsory going to live games anymore.
That idea was borne our a time when football wasn't even on TV and so going to games was all there was. There's millions of fans paying subscriptions to watch the team they support and some of that money goes to the club.
You're not a better fan because you attended a couple of games using a ticket shared by 20 blokes across the borough. You're contributing very little to the club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Alright mate, are you not embarrassed that there are Man United and Everton fans out there that have been to Anfield more often than you
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, I'm not, because I'm pretty sure there aren't. Just because I make this argument doesn't mean mancs and BS have been to more games than me. It's just about observing the reality.
ckneys.

A teacher that doesn't understand football fans fly to watch their football team.
No wonder the country is fecked.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bit weird any school would ever hire a teacher that doesn’t know what a plane is
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope he doesn't teach Geography tho to his credit he'd heard of Mongolia.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I bet he supports a wealthier school from a different county.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool is globally supported like other big clubs whereas Spurs have no fans outside their immediate vicinity.
Explains our difference in opinion perhaps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just having a look on here to see the reaction to our Cup draw and noticed this comment.
I hope it's a wind up because if it isn't then you are very badly informed.
Spurs have 80mil supporters in Asia which isn’t really in our immediate vicinity.

It's fine not to go to games, it's not always easy or possible to get tickets and it's a global game now.
But it takes a special kindof bellllend to give it large about how great your club is when you've never even stepped inside your home stadium. Embarrassing really. .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Make up your minds and stop moving goal posts.
Is it never setting foot in the stadium or actually going to games?
This isn't the 80s anymore. You can't tell fans that they can't engage in banter because they can't or don't attend games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You have to understand we go to games, or have been to plenty of games in the past - very difficult to take new “fans” that have never seen their teams live seriously
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What was the last game you went to?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I told you this earlier - last Friday night, Burnley at home in the cup

Credit where it is due in my opinion. We got the goal and then he gave Dane, Sess and Donley minutes - perfect way to do it, we get the win, they get mins and the fans can dream a little longer.
I had just about made peace with a replay before Porto’s goal - thinking we’re not playing much in Jan, glad we scored though.
Can’t believe ITV gave us a studio full of Gooners for the game though - what a joke, you could hear Dixon praying for a Burnley goal"

It's fine not to go to games, it's not always easy or possible to get tickets and it's a global game now.
But it takes a special kindof bellllend to give it large about how great your club is when you've never even stepped inside your home stadium. Embarrassing really. .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Make up your minds and stop moving goal posts.
Is it never setting foot in the stadium or actually going to games?
This isn't the 80s anymore. You can't tell fans that they can't engage in banter because they can't or don't attend games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You have to understand we go to games, or have been to plenty of games in the past - very difficult to take new “fans” that have never seen their teams live seriously
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What was the last game you went to?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I told you this earlier - last Friday night, Burnley at home in the cup

Yes, but there was no reason (and no excuse) not to.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats not stopped us in the past.
Course you were

You will notice I posted that on Saturday morning

You were at the match watching the match on ITV

Dixon of The Wirral here thinks he has rumbled me
The game was Friday night, I posted Saturday morning. There’s this thing where you can watch something that happened previously on TV - join the dots

Ask them how many games they've been to and they soon feck off.

They are not the same person mate I can tell you that. Both completecunts absolutely, but they are different people.
Actually where is Maf the wretched excremental smear these days - has Mother Nature finally done the decent thing and offed him? Or has Rishi had him deported back to his village in Bulgaria where there’s only a Morse radio to communicate with the outside world with?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
ST holder for 12 years until 2014. Now live 70 miles away.....went to the game the other night, took the kids, got home at 1245 am. We left for the match at 445pm.
Saw a stunning goal and enjoyed the atmosphere in the South stand, dancing and singing along at the end. Got soaked walking back to the car. Loved it all.
Delighted my boys have experienced this direct connection with the club they support. It's a lot of effort but they've been a good few times now and even they can see that supporting a club goes deeper than just watching your team on TV. It's a shared experience, its commoradery with like minded total strangers, it's singing your head off, it's the excitement as you approach the ground, the building atmosphere, the chat/analysis as you leave.
Not everyone can go to games but I observe that those that do are often the more balanced fans who have made sacrifices to attend in good times and bad.....the mouthy twattts shouting the odds are often the sad individuals who lack the context or understanding that a match going fan develops.

Well said Devon, I agree completely. I work with plenty of Match going West Ham, Arsenal and Chelsea fans and the conversations I have with them despite the rivalry is always decent and knowledgeable, with the shared understanding of the trials and tribulations and sheer joy of going to matches.
Well done for taking your kids, bloody expensive I know

Some of what you describe in you second last paragraph can happen when going to the pub to watch a game or meeting up to watch the game with friends at your house or theirs. The comradery, chat and tactics. Just because a guy can afford to go to games, or lives next to the stadium doesn't make them a better fan than you.
There's many so called fans who live next to the stadium and hardly go to games. Or go to two games a year and think they're better than fans that can't go to games. Its more difficult and takes more commitment to follow a football club from 5,000 miles away than from 5 miles away. Most merchandise that funds the club is bought by these fans. Total match day income can hardly pay a couple players wages at some clubs. Clubs would survive without the money but obviously match going fans are crucial as there'd be nothing of note to watch of they weren't there.
Decent post to be fair and happy that your kids had a blast, but I partially disagree with the last paragraph. History has proven that match going fans are probably the best and also the worst of fans at the same time. There's some real mongs therein too.
Didn't your boy Raptwat move to Portugal? He can't go to as many games as he used to. At the end of the day, football is just a game. You can't not live your life so that you can live next to the stadium and go to games all your life.
English match going fans just don't have the wherewithal to understand that for some reason. I've been all over the world and it's only in England you really see this phenomenon. There's an entitlement and a certain attitude around football when English football is the one that's most reliant on overseas fans 99% of whom will probably never even set foot in England. Our clubs are clearly going after fans in China and the rest of the world. Even their rejection of the Super League is just to maintain relations. In the end even the Super League will happen either sooner or later, whichever. The past is gone. Stop clinging on.

No, I'm not, because I'm pretty sure there aren't. Just because I make this argument doesn't mean mancs and BS have been to more games than me. It's just about observing the reality.

Thats not stopped us in the past.

A teacher that doesn't understand football fans fly to watch their football team.
No wonder the country is fecked.

Bit weird any school would ever hire a teacher that doesn’t know what a plane is

Hope he doesn't teach Geography tho to his credit he'd heard of Mongolia.

Embarrassing really. .

Ask them how many games they've been to and they soon feck off.
It works.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Weekend and Maf are one and the same - i’ve checked with the ONS and there is no way that there are 2 people in this country that thick
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They are not the same person mate I can tell you that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
ST holder for 12 years until 2014.
