Total neutral, and really enjoyed the game as one. I think Utd DO have a discernible style of play though, albeit not a stylish one. Pretty limited really. Sit deep, hope to nick possession, then (more often than not) instantly attempt a Hollywood ball over the top to release one of the pacy front 3. It can obviously work, but feck me it’s pretty rudimentary, isn’t it?

I agree. Today's performance has turned it for me as well, especially after such a positive start. And like you say none of the players really had a bad game (Ericsson maybe and you could argue that onana could have done better). But we were shown up by a Tottenham team that had tactics, whereas we were completely reliant upon Bruno getting breaks to happen with a clever pass. All very negative. Perhaps we'll see casemiro back to his best or even learn the reason for ETH chasing mount. But I'm not optimistic.

Basically. Graham Taylor's tactics at Watford in the 1980s.

He was simply out coached. A good coach adapts his players to his style of play ; a poor coach submits to the power of individual players.

As you stated Tottenham played as a team,United did'nt
eleven individuals doing their own thing never works, the number of time Rashford had team mates in a better position to score but he never looks up if i notice it surely the coaching staff should, stop blaming the manager some players are unmanageable in football today someone above manager level has to move them on no player should be bigger than their club, move them on is the only way forward.

It really is frustrating that we keep getting outplayed and outworked by everyone.
This counter attacking nonsense for a team like Manchester United playing at home is absolutely embarrassing.
The manager is just simply clueless.

The fact that on one in this club is capable of convincing Rashford to pass the ball to his teammates is beyond me. Or at least convince him to track back to recover the numerous balls he gives away so cheaply.

He was tactically schooled and out coached. No surprise really anyone that knows football knew this was coming.

That Tottenham squad today no one can convince me better than ours.

You’d think new ‘owners’ (people in charge then) would wanna work with their own guy so when Ten Hag gets sacked the guy they bring in will hopefully be a breath of fresh air after the tactical nightmare of Spent Hag

Today’s game exposed ETH’s limits more than any other game previously, because he can’t use his any of the old excuses : injuries, rebuilding precess, playing too many games….

What worries me, if us here can see the nonsense Rashford is doing, what is Bin Bag doing on the Touchline? Why is he not saying to Rashford what on earth are you doing. Rashford carries on running to la la land, which tells me no one grabbing this idiot to coach him.

Rashford was poor. Jeez!! fack me.
Kept running into blind alleys as per standard
Had the opportunity to make it 3 shortly after his goal but did the most rashford thing, dragged it to the other side pointlessly

I figured the worst thing about Ragnick was that the players knew he was off at the end of the season so was a stopgap option who never really stood a chance. If someone like Potter is brought in on a 2/3 year contract and is presented like someone who has something to offer long term youd think/hope it would be different

I don’t know why I keep torturing myself to watch two hours of the rubbish this team keeps serving us fans. We should be getting paid to watch this, money taken from the salaries of these useless players.

It’s more that when shiiiiiit hits the fan for us it’s a perfect storm and a mamagement change isn’t going to do much in the middle of the season. Even when we went on the run after Ole joined we crashed and burned.

I’d be surprised it we went for Potter, but if we did he’d be daft to take it in the middle of a season. He’ll need to massively overhaul the squad and will want a pre season.

We played far too openly against you, you were always going to score but we made it too easy. We were arguably ideal oppo for you lot today with our highline.

Having watched you today I can see the issues you lot have with low block teams

Fair comment have enjoyed watching Spurs this season, Huge Ange fan after his time at Celtic and other than his coaching skills he's also a top facking bloke, takes me sheite from the media and says what he feels

Utd did fairly well against you and Villa because of the high defensive line but as said toil against anyone who sits deep, that is, imo anyway due to lack of creativity in CM

Just think the second half today summed up life under ETH, zero charisma, no excitement just grey boring plodding along directionless football with bored non buying into the process players.

The two interviews after the game interested me, Ange has the charisma Erik is sadly missing you can see he can engage with the players and motivate them plus he knows it’s an entertainment business, second half today OT was just numb and silenced and ETH just cannot see it.

Does ange have a castle in the sky and a host of flying monkeys? I think not. You don’t get that sort of things without charisma and Ming ten merciful has it.

Just saw the highlights on MOTD.

Why was more not made of the Udogie/Garnacho penalty claim? Should have been a penalty for me. You cannot defend with your arms like that. Garnacho may have gone down easily but he was clearly impeded.
