Be madness to go back to bairstow with the gloves. Foakes is the best keeper. Brook or Bairstow for 5. The top 4 and 6 pick themselves. Wouldn't be surprised if England picked 4 seam bowlers at home and used root.

Someone once described a film as, "The Citizen Kane of awful".
Even that wouldn't do that 'song' justice.
Wood for Robinson is England's only change.
50 for Crawley.....England going well.
As I say that....Pope out running down the wicket.🙈
Very annoying to lose Pope on the stroke of lunch but then it could have been worse. Crawley really is rewarding the faith shown at him with consistent run scoring at the top of the order. Hopefully Bairstow can do the same when he comes into bat this afternoon, although hopefully he doesn't have to bat at all!

a declaration 2 down seems a tad optimistic, but I suppose you've got to aim high!
Well he should have been walking out already, Crawley a lucky boy and its kind of surprising that they didn't review.
Never know with Bazball, could be 400/2 by close of play or 220 all out by tea.
Just seen the Pope dismissal. the guy doesnt understand Kuldeep is a leg spinner and spins the ball away. and hes going down the leg side of the ball.no second defence. hes clueless
Kuldeep's been excellent this series. Terrific bowler.
(for avoidance of doubt, that comment wasn't related to the previous comment)
Classic Bairstow.
Number of starts he got this series then immediately getting out has been a joke.
Middle order has been a joke this series
Don't worry lads, this is all about Jimmy's 700th today
Nope.....sorry this isn't good enough.
So once again Foakes has to do an impossible job and will get criticised when he can't do it
