I would also like to manage United.
People are being massively pessimistic about Jose returning to us but they also seem to forget that 38 0-0s would see us survive in all but one season in the last 20 years or so.
Mourinho at the helm, with a spine of Maguire, McTominay and Martial. Unstoppable.

Very few reported rumours actually come true. Whether it be players, managers etc, they have to try and report something. Then folk believe it's true and they snowball.......
He went back to Chelsea a second time,. why not Man-united?

I don't want Jose back. He's better than ETH though.
Erik isn't handling this job at all well. Well out of his depth and getting zero respect from the players.

3rd lowest scorers in the division
He should have been sacked 2-3 months ago.
Means we’d see more of wahl on the Utd board. Surely it’s worth it for that alone?
It’d be so good if Utd got another banter manager.
My choices, in order of banter levels:
Southgate:
Jose:
Poch:
Potter:
Would it be a terrible shout to bring back the most successful coach in post Fergie Manchester United history?
Then you remember he signed Lukaku and Pogba.

I'm not even necessarily saying I disagree with you. But do you not get bored of saying the same thing with pretty much every comment you make? There are Russian bots that are less repetitive than you are.
It would be hilarious if Jose came back, and also terrible. I don't think he's the kind of profile Ineos are after though.

Let Jose go to Newcastle and we'll take Howe off their hands.
Id actually keep ETH over the Second Coming.
Jose was past his best the first time he was with us.......he's not on an upward curve...........
Jose was part of the gold generation of managers who unfortunately are retiring, or becoming rusty. The likes of Fergie, Wenger, Guardiola, Ancelotti, Jose, Klopp. They won the big prizes and were world class. We need to let them go and start looking at the next generation of managers, the Myrhh generation. Maybe not as good as gold but was deemed comparable in the past, despite just being tree sap.
Myrrh generation managers:
Carrick - Has Middlesbrough sitting mid table, pretty decent
Rooney - has managed several teams now around the world so is experienced
Gary Neville - has done it in La Liga
Edward Howe - has managed the richest team ever to a respectable 7th in the league and 4th in their CL group
De Zerbi - 3 wins in 16 is pretty decent in the toughest league in the world
David Moyes - Won the Conference and flying high in the PL. Could be the standout candidate
Lampard - Experienced at managing in the PL and championship
Gerrard - Won the Scottish Premiership and has managed around the world
Potter - He managed Chelsea. They're a big PL club
Pochettino - Managed Spurs, PSG and Chelsea. Being a manager is a job. He has experience in that job.
Southgate - He is capable of getting the worst out of a great squad of players so by logic that means he could also get the best out of a terrible squad of players.
Solskjaer - We could sit back and try and sneak a goal on the counter against all odds
Dyche - Experienced PL manager
There are probably more but WHAT A GENERATION we have on our hands.
