Very tough night in store for Rangers I think.

Warnock will have those players fired up beyond belief and will be ‘dying’ to start his time up here with a win.

His arrival really does comes at a pivotal point in the title race imo.

Psychological swings could quite easily come tonight in complete contrast to the weekend.

Big game for us tonight a chance to go top before they play on Wednesday. Will be watching with a few beers.

A position that was unthinkable after we last played Aberdeen at Ibrox.

Despite Aberdeen bringing a new boss in we should be strong favourites to get the job done. Every time though in recent years whenever we have had the chance to go ahead the squad has choked (we led from front when we won the league) I get the feeling the attitude is different with Phil though.

Got to keep the pressure on. McAusland was very good at the weekend so he has to start for me but I was impressed with Cortes and Matondo is infuriating to watch so would be tempted to play him.

Would also take Balogun over Souttar, the difference having his pace at the back allows us to get higher up. Souttar probably better for defending corners and from deeper though.

Silva over Dessers because he's neater all round and I'd fancy him to score a 1 on 1 over Dessers.

Clement has said he will not risk Ryan Jack tonight due to his cycle of injuries.

Jack started v Livingston on Saturday but with such a short recovery time Clement won’t risk him tonight.

"Ryan Jack will not be in the selection because he comes out of injury. He has a history of injuries and it’s only a short recovery time between the two games.

“I will not take risks with him now and we will build him with our medical staff and performance staff in the next weeks and months to make him more robust so that he can come out of this cycle of injuries that he’s had.

“We need a good plan with him on how to make him more robust and to have him on the field. We had a talk and of course he understands because it is a logical decision. There’s nothing crazy about it.”
