Don’t we usually do it the hard way? Always have to come from behind it seems
Every week Spurs dangle a carrot for dropped PTS and they usually find a way to get the win somehow.
Shows good character but there's a lot of cracks being papered over as well.

It’s weird because in the first ten games of the season we looked excellent. We were patchy from November - January but there were mitigating circumstances ie the injuries.
Since then I’ve expected more from us given we have had a pretty fit squad fit two months. We haven’t been able to control games and we concede a lot, but we’re doing ok considering we lost Kane.
We’re a weird side though.

Agreed. There is something quite not right. Luton had 10 injured players today, they created some good chances after they scored.
Bissouma has defo dropped off but he seems untouchable. Awful against Towsend for Luton's first goal.
Whenever our attack breaks down in the oppo's half we look suspect and way too open. This is where you want your DM mopping up.
We can be a bit like that too. We could easily lose by 3 tonight at Brentford despite beating Liverpool. 😂
We don't deserve CL. We have been woeful and if Villa or Spurs blow it you can only blame yourselves. Don't think you will though.
I'd have expected Spurs and Villa to win these fixtures, but tougher fixtures lie ahead.

It is a bit strange. Could it be that we lost a bit of that belief we had at the start of the season since the injury hit period? We probably felt invincible back then and possibly almost destined for a title challenge, but once we suffered that run of bad losses during the injury crisis it's like we're a bit less mentally strong, like we can't go too long on an unbeaten run before losing. Add to that certain players playing below their previous levels.
On the plus side, BJ is getting better and becoming a real weapon for us. For minutes played he must have a very good goal contribution ratio.
Does that result mean we don't have to worry about united now....!?!?

With West Ham away for us next I wouldn't say we don't have to worry but it certainly helps. You'd have to say there is a strong chance now that United don't make the top 5, as they've got Chelsea away next themselves.

And on top of West Ham away we have to visit Newcastle, Chelsea and Liverpool. Woolwich and City at home. The other games as shown today are potential banana skins.
Need to see when the Chelsea and City games will be scheduled for as well.

United will have their share of tough games too. We don't even have to just talk about the top teams but those fighting for survival.
At the moment 8 points and a far superior goal difference makes it a very difficult task for them.
Look at it this way, we could afford to lose 2 and draw 1, while they win 3 during those games, and if we were to equal the rest of their results, they'd still be behind us.
With West Ham away and Forest home in our next 2 games, and Chelsea away and Liverpool at home for them, you'd already think that we'd gain another point or 2 on them.

Possible but West Ham away is always tricky for us. Forest game won't be a walk in the park. Nothing ever is lol
We made heavy work of Luton at home today.
Kulusevski was terrible first half, Johnson made the difference. And I did not understand taking Sarr off?
We have to do a lot better in the next games to make 4th spot.
Villa and Spurs can afford to lose 4/5 games each and still make it as the chasing pack will all lose lots of games. Nobody from us in 6th down is going to go close to being perfect in the run in which we'd all need to be.
It's all over. It's just a matter of who gets 4th and who gets 5th between the two of you.
Seen a lot mention Kulusevski flattering to deceive. Johnston has done well coming from the bench.
Brereton Diaz has impressed me for Sheffield playing of the right. He’d surely be available cheap from Villarreal in the summer. Any one else think he could be decent?

West Ham away is tricky but so is Chelsea away for United. Forest at home should be no more dangerous than today's game so I'd honestly expect a win.
We are going to have to play a hell of a lot better than we played today to make 4th spot.
Kulusevski was terrible, and replacement by Johnson was clearly indicated, and made a difference to the second half. Dagusin had a better outing this time, but we really do miss Mikey VDV.
I am not convinced that Werner is worth his place in the squad, but he wasn't bad today.
I did not understand taking Sarr off unless he had a knock. He was our only player that went forward with the ball every time he got it.
What happened to Maddison, off at the half?
We really should be taking teams like Luton apart; ... 2-1 at home is not acceptable in my book,....we should be winning at a canter, 3-0.
Definitely need to stop going behind every f*cking game!
Our remaining games are:
Scammers (a) - Their cup final, never easy away at the HMRC Arena
Forest (h) - Relegation battlers fighting to stay up
Toon (a) - Tough venue these days against a team looking to qualify for Europe
Woolwich (h) - Derby, Goonz going for the title
Varpool (a) - Will be up against 13 men away at a team dragged into the title race, the refs won`t dare spoil Norbert`s party at Klanfield
Burnley (h) - Will either be already relegated and under no pressure or fighting for their lives to stay up
Sheffield Utd (a) - Will already be relegated and under no pressure / on the beach
TBC
Chelsea (a) - Derby away at Stamford Bog is never easy, bogey ground.
City (h) - Best team in the world, will be going for the title, though we have a decent record against them.
