We've got tough games too. We will lose another 3 maybe 4 ourselves most likely. Our season quite frankly doesn't deserve CL football and if by some miracle we end up 5th and qualify then it doesn't say much about the Premier League I must say.
Don't get too gassed about qualifying for a competition you won't compete in either. It's not as fun as it's cracked up to be. I know all too well from this season. 😂😭
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’ve made the final only 5 years ago and tend to do well in the CL. The biggest reason for that is because unlike all the other cup comps we enter, we actually take the CL seriously and play a strong side.
I would be confident of getting through the group in the new format, then it just comes down to who we draw. But European football is not particularly strong at the moment. City and Real will be the top dogs. Liverpool won’t have Klopp, Arsenal generally are pony in Europe. Barca are shiete, Italian clubs are broke and Mbappe is leaving PSG. Bayern will probably bounce back with a new manager.
Honestly, we are well capable of making the quarters and the would need some luck but could push on to a semi and get beaten by one of the few elite sides around.
The main thing for Spurs though is the revenue, we have gotten stronger each window with Paratici and we’re building a serious squad - we just need to keep giving him money

Villa and Spurs battling for fourth, should go to the wire. United closer to their main rivals these days, Wolves, in a battle for top half honours.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not discounting United at this point, if we lose at Villa next week and United beat Everton at home then it’s 3 points and our game in hand is Chelsea away where we love to lose.
We need a minimum of 10 points from our next 5 games and we absolutely have to win the final 2 games against Burnley and Sheff Utd. That’s 16 points plus the 6 point gap we have, that’s gives us a 22 point advantage over United, but I expect them to get 23 more points, so we’re going to need to get a further point from one of the following:
Newcastle (A)
Arsenal (H)
Man City (H)
Liverpool (A)
Chelsea (A)
We could definitely lose all of those
----------------------------------------------------------------------
it will be foolish to rule out Utd agreed
Think Spammers are creeping up too but they should be discounted imo
We must beat Villa to close the gap and hove ourselves a good chance to get 4th
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I’m not worried about Wet Spam - 8 points behind, we get to play them at theirs where they surely won’t play the low block - I really fancy us in that game. They have Europe starting up again this week and their final 4 fixtures are:
Liverpool (H)
Chelsea (A)
Luton (H)
Man City (A)
I think they will get 11/12 more points, so we need a win and a draw from 12 games to finish above them.
After yesterday I'm convinced both of Spurs and Villa are going to get CL with top 5 finishes. Part of me actually wanted United to win yesterday just to make the CL a bit more interesting but I don't think it will be. It's all about who of the two of us finishes 4th or 5th.

I think 5th place beckons, but that’s likely to be a CL spot this year so that’s fine.
This side need to be playing more games, we just looked lost at times in that first half.
One thing we do have now though is game changers on the bench - those options are dragging us through this season now.
Will be happy with a point at Villa, that keeps the chasing pack at bay
----------------------------------------------------------------------
5th currently won't make CL.
Would need England to overtake Germany in UEFA's ratings, and we're currently just behind.
Maybe if an English side wins the CL this season I don't know how the points work.
Latest.
Villa played 28 - 55 points
Spurs played 27 - 53 points
Man Utd played 28 - 47 points.

Europa Conference League beckons.
There’s a good chance of a PL side reaching all 3 European finals and winning them which would surely give the PL a 5th CL spot. Not that United will finish 5th.
10 games left, that’s 30 points; can we hope to get at least 20 of those, bearing in mind we still have to play the Top 3 and Chelsea?
One game at a time I suppose.
You're 7 ahead of us when you factor in the GD. We still have to play Liverpool and Arsenal at home and a few tricky away games at Chelsea Brentford and Brighton.
It's Spurs and Villa for 4th/5th.
Spurs fans have piped down since yesterday, what happened?
Prior to yesterday you'd have thought they were prime Barcelona
They'll go on an win now.
A draw doesn't change a whole lot. As long as they don't win.
But we have our game in hand.
