Yep, I reckon that is where they go. It would be a good move for him too. Replacing Klopp will be a tough gig. If he goes to Bayern he has less competition in the domestic league and should get some silverware under his belt. Save the Liverpool job until later into his career.

Bundesliga watchers I've listened to commented that Xabi Alonso has a history of turning down big job offers when he thinks it's the timing is wrong. For what it's worth, they were sceptical that he would leave Leverkusen for Liverpool at the end of this season, not because he lacks the ambition, but because it would be too early. I guess if they were right, the same would apply to Bayern.

It's unlikely that INEOS leadership will have made transformative changes to the squad by August, in which case are we setting up an elite manager for a rocky first season?

Exactly what many said about his United appointment.
There are still some supporters who think that Tuchel is a great manager. He won a Champion's League with Chelsea and stabalized the club but he has always underachieved apart from that.
Looking at Chelsea, he was unable to find a system which got the best out of Lukaku and we went backwards after winning the Champions League. We were very negative and ground out results. The signs of the plight we are in had started long before Tuchel's sacking.
At PSG and Bayern, he has been underwhelming. His style of play is old school - akin to Conte or Mourinho - it can still be effective but thses managers create discord in the dresing rooms and prefer solidity to utilising the very expensive flair the clubs bring in.
Many will argue with me, but Chelsea let De Bruyne, Salah, Musiala, amongst many others slip through their fingers because the coaches were too structural in their approach. Currently, it is the flair teams, those who attack and play with freedomand creativity which are successful. Football is cyclical, but Bayern have the best and mose expensive squad in the Bundesliga by far, yet they are underperforming. The manager's influence must not be taken lightly.
Ange Postecoglu could be the best fit for Bayern as he plays the right brand of attacking football that the club wants to see. His style relies on a high energy crowd that will drive the rhythm of the team forward and he would get that in Germany.
I know Ange has been let down in this regard at Spurs due to poor support from a subdued crowd which has had a massive impact on the team's ability to play the fast paced, attacking football.
If Bayern can see that with the right atmosphere and fans behind him, like he had at Celtic, Ange can bring success with his style to Bayern.
