Grate article, Wahldude.

It’s like when people compared Wenger to Fergie.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In twenty years time, people will admit there’s no comparison between pep and Klopp in the same way that now it’s commonly accepted that sir Alex >>>>> Wenger.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apart from Liverpool fans, of course.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Liverpool version will be:

Jurgen Klopp inherited a squad made up of asylum seekers, ex-prisoners and street children.

With a budget of only £750, he managed to turn them into a team of World beaters who won 35 major trophys.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You ok Boris?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of coarse not

But Klopp is ahead if Pep in the Head to head, isn't he?

Dont 4get Liverpool EPL win dont count as was COVID n rules change mid way thru season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
League was already won by the time lockdown was imposed. It's the next season that was a joke, with games looking like training, games kicking off at pants o'clock and teams fielding teams of kids and squad players. Utter joke so one of City's titles shoulder count.

Pep has completely dominated Klopp and England in general since he arrived

The only manager in history that Pep has failed to completely dominate is Jurgen Klopp.

No. Only Klopp has clapped back at Pep. Even the great Fergie got the floor wiped with his face by Pep.

Klopp the only manager with better Head to head and head to head is the best barometer because that's actually one on one.

Pep is the greatest manager of all time, but the only manager who’s managed to go toe to toe with him consistently is Jurgen Klopp.

That's the point - Klopp never went toe to toe with Pep consistently. He went toe-to-toe with Pep about twice in total.

Premier league points:

18/19 - Liverpool 97, City 98
19/20 - Liverpool 99 City 81
20/21 - Liverpool 69, City 86
21/22 - Liverpool 92, City 93

In that four year period, we amassed 357 points to their 358. We got edged out most years but how is that not going toe to toe?

Mourinho at his peak was one of the best of all time too, I don’t think anybody has said otherwise. But there was no Guardiola - Mourinho rivalry in the PL.

Yeah, so it happened twice. 18/19 and 21/22.

Mourinho was the only manager to get the better of Sir Alex in the PL. The only manager.

Mourinho also had a great rivalry with Pep in Spain. Now THAT was an actual rivalry where they went toe to toe.
