TBF you could argue Putin is complicit if you believe the narrative that the US warned Russia and he personally dismissed it as meddling in the election.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apparently the U.S. warned American citizens in Moscow not to attend any events with large crowds.
Hard to believe the FSB or whatever they call the KGB now didn't hear about it.

Cinci
Take this for example

https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2018/03/243388/spread-wahhabism-done-request-west-cold-war-saudi-crown-prince

Now if you look into it, you will find that Wahabism is basically the daddy to global terrorism today.

I didn't say anyone is arguing. I was just pointing out that you can't argue with what he said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s another pointless statement though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If that was so then many of your comments would also be pointless.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But a specific question was asked and because you or bats couldn’t answer you moved the goalposts.

I haven’t moved the goalposts. You just don’t like the definiton of terrorism.

That’s just your interpretation of the definition. What you’re actually doing by throwing in the American cliche is devaluing the seriousness of events such as the Moscow attack. They’re different whether it suits you or not

But it was a loaded question and you know it Term, with restrictions and time limits. You know very well, and. Don't need to explain why he added those conditions to his question but here you are playing dumb and overlooking all that. The whole of the west plays dumb around this topic.

In any case, I still managed to answer it. He was even saying if we can't answer then he is right when we are just some blokes on the internet. Our inability to answer a question doesn't mean it's not true.

One thing that amuses me about some people is how their reasoning mechanism works. That makes sense to some people. That also explains why they reach weird or strange conclusions about observations and situations. Give them a set of facts to analyse and their conclusion will be from another dimension.

So it's not that we moved the goal posts. We answered the question as if it was asked properly. Because of your bias you don't see it that way. And don't say you aren't biased. We all are after a lifetime of programing and being fed by the media narratives that make us the hero of every story when the truth is we are the worst of them all, whether people like to admit it or not.

And can you name a country or any civilisation that doesn't play that card?
I remember talking about indigenous peoples being given land back. People on here, geniuses if you will were on about "can we get reparations from the vikings?" "How far back do we go?"
The same people defend the right of Jews to be sole proprietors of Palestine after an absence of +/- 2,000 years.

SoQ
No, I cannot name anyone that doesn't play that card. I'm not saying they are good and we are bad. The same way they fall for the narratives in Russia or China is to some extent the same way we fall for narratives here, but we act like what happens over there doesn't happen over here when it does happen but in different ways and methods.

I have simply answered Cinci's query. He asked for examples. He's asking about sponsoring a terrorist act? I'm telling him fack sponsoring a terrorist act, they started all this sheet, like they do everywhere they go. That's if we want to accept facts the same way we accept them about others, but if we want to keep accepting the narratives that deep down we know to be false, then we can just dismiss all these facts as hatred of the west.

We can continue to (rightfully) point fingers at others for their despicableness and human rights violations, while silencing or simply denying every finger that points at us, while accusing others of doing just that. As you pointed out, everyone in the world is the hero of their own story. One needs to read between the lines and be honest to themselves. After all, world peace and prosperity is the common goal, not just prosperity of one imaginary region demarcated by imaginary lines on a map.

They are despicable, but so are we, and one can legitimately make the argument that we are worse than them.

But it wasn’t a loaded question, it’s reasonable to put a time limit when you’re deciding whether to believe whether you can trust what someone is saying now as opposed to 30+ years ago. It was Bats who suggested that we shouldn’t be taking America’s word that it was ISIL that carried out the attack.

And I’m not biased. You just can’t handle someone thinking differently to yourself because of this inferiority complex that you’ve always had. Nothing I post suggests that I’m biased against a particular set of people or a country.

It's called being consistently inconsistent. Different result to the same algorithm depending on whether one of the sequences in the algorithm is ourselves or someone else.

Agh. Despicable I can handle. Just don't call me deplorable.
I'm sure most on here know or should know many of the sins of the west, but check Russia and China and even Iran and India. You say half the schit we get away with in the west in any of these countries, what happens? At least we can criticize here and hold any opinions on politicians without fear of imprisonment or worse. Usually.

But if you allow such reasoning to all claims made and all statements then debates would become ridiculous. In any case I answered his question as he asked I'm addition to how it should have been asked.

I don't disagree with Bats suggestion because forgive me but the US is capable of a whole lot of sheet and if we're being honest isn't a trustworthy entity. Not unreasonable to doubt them especially prima facie IMO. You probably believe everything they say and put in the media. They call themselves the police of the world, but we all know how rotten police can be.

The bias I am talking about emanates from you ignoring imperfections in what people you agree with say, while nit-picking what those you disagree with say. You're on at Bats when Cinci is acting like he's never seen a newspaper in his life, you justify his limitations when they are clearly harmful to the debate. If Bats gave similar limitations to anything, you'd be on his ass for the same reasons I'm on Cinci's.

So tedious. Every feckin terrorist or war debate and it turns into America did it all. So feckin pathetic.

May as well make it a point that whenever racism debates kick off here we blame large swathes of the muslim world given their MASSIVE hand in slavery in future, that should go down well.

posted on 24/3/24

Well at least Cinci got to associate Islam with terrorism which was obviously where he was going from the very start.

Have a look at the numbers of slaves in China, India and Russia. There are Muslim minorities in all 3. But I don't believe Muslims are the only slave holders in these countries. There are an estimated 400,000+ slaves in present day America. only about 5% being foreigners. What you doing down there, Cinci?

Yeah madness right? Associating names like ISIS, ISIL, IS, Al-Shabaab, JNIM with Islam, can't think how that happened

Completely irrelevant to the question I originally asked of course but never mind.

And between all of them are responsible for a mere fraction of deaths caused by America. Maybe it’s just the Islamic Americans who have done all the killing?
