I've not read all the comments but I'm not really sure this is the big issue some people are making out.

For it to be an issue you'd need:

- A man who's got some decent athletic ability.
- That same man wanting to transition into a woman.

I don't know about you but I just don't think it'd be worth it to change gender just to win a few more sporting competitions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This. I mean we can see above that people think it’s ’quite common’… it really isn’t.

If you listen to Rogan you’d think they were abducting children at four years old and making them transition. They’re not.

I’m not saying it’s a non issue but it’s pretty close to it, certainly in all the sports I know and watch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is where you’re missing the point Robbing. It’s not just about elite sports it’s the effect that it’s having on grass roots sports where boys are playing in girls’ competitions.

I have a daughter and there’s no way I’d be happy with some boy injuring her in a football game as she gets older. It’s not right.

Aren’t there physiological differences that mean that men are better at sports that require hand eye coordination?

Are you sure?

The odds on that are vanishingly small but fair enough.

What about if a girl injures her?

Do you have data on how big an issue it is? It is statistically a non-issue. You could argue that allowing fat kids to play in the same matches as skinny kids is far more dangerous. Fat people are far more common than trans and are a massive issue in terms of injuring smaller people. Particularly in sports like rugby.

Do you want fat people banned from team sports due to the very real injury crisis that we are facing?

I was very sleight, to go with how short I am, when I was younger but still played football, rugby etc against much bigger opponents. You just have to be careful and accept things happen. The worst injuries though at sports in school were in Hockey! Some of the girls could be really vicious!

I captained a mixed side for a charity tournament at Wembley (five a sides next to it but it sounds cool) a couple of times. Had to have two women in the pitch at any one time.

Everything was absolutely fine by the way, no females died or lost limbs, although I did play against a pro womens player and she absolutely fvcking roasted me for balance.

Yeah it's all these easily offended snowflakes like Pranks etc that get worked up over nothing. We play a mixed match Monday night football and the girls are fine.

Under 7s girls are allowed in the men's changing rooms at my gym. No seexual assaults.

It is just these snowflakes panicking over nothing.

I’ve actually mentioned on here that Djanogly swimming pool, which is part of a school but also open to the public, here in Nottingham has had mixed changing rooms for about a decade and no-one gives a shiiiiiiiit.

I think the issues in pro sort is a different conversation but at grass roots level it’s a load of nonsense if we’re honest.

Fat kids are more dangerous than trans kids. Fact.

A man doesn't have to have decent athletic ability IMO. Any regular man would dominate any women's sport if they get similar levels of training and exposure as the women they are competing against.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Absolute nonsense

Deadlift standards:

Women:
Elite 157 kg

Men:
Intermediate 152 kg

Oh well this means that ‘any man’ would ‘dominate any women’s sport’ with the right training

Another quality post from you. Well done.

I didn't say that though did I.

Obviously you're not particularly knowledgeable about sports (and never deadlifted) if you can't see the major difference between athletic ability between men and women based on that single statistic.

Because you took his post literally.

Any regular man with training will get to elite level in many womens sports

Hope you're now at least somewhat educated on this issue.

Everton guy. Just so that you can be defeated and leave the article. The woman's marathon world record is approx 2h 11m. Approx the same time as Mo Farah ran the London Marathon in 2023.

So you are essentially saying that Mo Farah, one of the greatest distance runners of all time, is just some regular guy you'd find down the pub, he's just done a bit of training.

You are defeated.

Goodbye.

Yeah, so that’s bollox and I can see you now changed it to ‘many’ women’s sports.

Go and take for a sh!t lad, you have absolutely nothing to base that on.

Love it that you’re a ‘do you lift bro’ Andrew Tate guy though.

Have women been a bit mean to you again?

So if we follow robbing’s logic, if something happens very infrequently then it’s absolutely fine?
