Just on a point raised earlier, when someone mentioned HMRC getting involved in this fraud...
Could there be another forced sale like when RA had to flog Chelsea??
If City's owners have screwed our government out of millions and millions then I can certainly see something like that happening. Hit with sanction after sanction until they sell up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aren’t United registered in the Cayman Islands so they they can avoid paying tax?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No they’re not.
Even then we are accused of fraud and so on

Yup and avoid paying for our own facking stadium. This part of the club I utterly despise. Disgusting
https://www.businessinsider.com/manchester-united-cayman-islands-shell-corporation-structure-2012-8?amp
United's F-1 filing with the SEC describes its real corporate structure. United is now officially based in the Cayman Islands, and the football club itself is a shell corporation. Technically, United's new address is c/o Walkers Corporate Services, Walker House, 87 Mary Street, George Town, Grand Cayman, KY 1-9001, Cayman Islands.
The company based there is called Red Football, which owns Manchester United plc (Cayman), which owns Red Football Holdings Limited (UK), which owns Red Football Shareholder Limited (UK), which owns Red Football Joint Venture Limited (UK), which owns Red Football Junior Limited (UK) and Manchester United Limited (UK), and "various operating subsidiaries."
“Nothing to see here”
What's that got to do with us being accused of FFP doping and fraud though?
Most businesses are registered in tax heavens. Nothing to do with anything illegal.
We no doubt have a huge fanbase over in the Caymans too which could be another potential reason.

We aren't avoiding anything. Jim is bluffing and clearly will fund the new stadium himself. He's a billionaire ffs, he's just trying to hammer home how abandoned we feel in the North; government lying about HS2, the North/South divide etc.
He's uniting the supporters who hate this Tory government and fair play to him. I imagine the message will be something like 'We've been hung out to dry yet again by this spineless government who treat businesses/people in the North like a sub-species. Well they aren't getting away with it this time because I will finance the stadium myself'
Trust me that's what is happening, wait and see.

"The expression 'tax haven' in relation to the Cayman Islands is hopelessly outmoded.
"The reason why corporations go to the Cayman Islands is not necessarily to avoid tax. [They] will pay taxes in the jurisdictions in which taxes are due to be paid. Corporations, particularly hedge funds, that trade out of the Cayman Islands domicile there for various other reasons relating to quality of the legislation, stability, absence of intrusive regulation."
Well that was a pointless read!

There are bigger issues to deal with right now Boris. Like the majority of our fanbase suddenly getting hard for ETH, because he pulled off some Oleball against you lot at Wembley.
That result was misleading too... City were clearly tired after 2 gruelling seasons and didn't look right at all.
Ten Hag out.
Are the PL going to charge the Champions with fielding tired players?
Wouldn’t surprise me tbh

I'm just saying you could see on Saturday that you lot have played about 10000 games since August 2022 and it finally caught up with you.
We weren't even that good. Just parked the bus like we did under Ole against you and countered.
I also think the fact you lot had the 4 in a row parade booked, as well as an end of season party a week before the match, played into our hands and made your team less motivated.
Ten Hag out.
