Chiwome might be up for a shout, maybe from the bench. Thought he gave us something to think about in his cameo against Coventry. If fit I'm guessing Bellegarde will start.
Cunha is in contention to return for this one but Bellegarde isn’t and neither is Dawson.
Can’t see Fraser retaining his place as he didn’t impress against Coventry. Chiwome was better but not sure he’ll start either. I’d like to see Lemina pushed forward in the number 10 role that he occupied so well against Fulham. So maybe;
Sa
Kilman, S.Bueno, Toti
Semedo, Doyle, Gomes, Ait Nouri
Lemina
Sarabia, Cunha
could bring in Bueno and push Ait-Nouri forward
I'd be inclined to that cinci, especially as Air-Nouri is playing his best football this season in a more forward role.
Wouldn't be against it but a little weary given it is Villa who are no joke. Certainly would have given it a go against lesser opposition.
Playing Ait Nouri forward is a possibility and I think that would mean Doyle dropping out to accommodate him
Thanks wolfie, just got home and logged on to see you've done the biz. Normal service (whatever that is) shall resume shortly.
Strange run of games over the next week with three consecutive games against teams that play in claret and blue. Burnley on Tuesday looks the most winnable but if we can beat Villa or West Ham as well then europe will remain in sight
Since returning to the Premier League in 2019, Wolves have played Villa 9 times and have won 5, drawn 3 and lost 1.
Been lots of reports linking GON with a move to Man Utd. Not as manager/head coach but as a right hand man to whoever is in that position. Seems clear that’s an opportunity he will reject

It means we can’t wear our red away kit or our sky blue 3rd kit, just need to stick to the Old Gold.
Can see villa giving us a bit of a tonking. Hope not of course.
Looks like wolfie’s thread has descended into a fashion discussion about what strip we’ll be wearing?
Oh matron!
Wolves connected players on the mark this afternoon. Chiquinho scoring again for Familicao in Portugal. And Jack Price, recently returned from USA, getting a equaliser for Shrewsbury. And Hoever getting a late goal for Stoke in their surprise win at Hull
Nice goal by Chiquinho today

In his press conference today GON gave an update on injured players. Cunha will play this week but not decided whether that will be from the beginning or from the bench, Dawson should be fit to return next week. Bellegarde’s knee is still settling down and not sure when he will be ready. Hwang should be back within three weeks

The police make a lot of enemies. Could be anybody?
I would keep Gomes and Lemina as the two central midfielders they can be awesome together
Certainly think GON got it wrong playing Lemina wide left against Coventry. He needs to be in the centre of the field where he is more heavily involved, whether that’s in a defensive or attacking midfield role or giving him the freedom to do both
It’s looking likely that we will be wearing old gold shirts with black shorts. 🟨⬛️💛🖤
Yea, except that the old gold we wear nowadays is more of an orange.
