Arsenal had an away kit a few seasons ago, which was the closest I've ever seen to the 'old gold' of yesteryear. Not sure why it can't be replicated for us.
Oh, and thanks for the 1 star WO. At least someone made the effort to post a match day thread. I'm sure you're in that category you mentioned.

On the contrary mate. I’m one of the very few posters on ‘ere that’s actually got your back, 👍

Chiwome starts
Probably the weakest bench of the season.
The people that advocated a small squad have a lot to answer for…….
Excellent start, wish Semedo s final ball could be better
Good start but got to take that chance from RAN
We're in this game just too sloppy at times
Not any more we're not.
Been here before though.
I get so frustrated by some of our tactics
Side to side forward , back and repeat.

I know right it's that lack of urgency in a game your losing that infuriates
I
Started the game so well and missed the chance to go ahead. But once Villa went ahead there was only going to be one winner, particularly because we had so few options from the bench.
Can’t imagine there are many teams in the Premier League or any other league that would be winning matches with their 4 best forwards all out injured, and that’s caught up with us now.
We need Cunha back at Burnley on Tuesday which is a game that gives us a chance to get a win under our belt and keep in the top half
I didn't think there was that much in it to be honest, we had some good spells that we didn't capitalise on, more possession, more shots, just a lack of quality in their box.
Disappointing goals to concede, first could have hit anything, Diaby struck it well enough but thought he was lucky to squeeze it through the bodies. Second came from us losing possession unnecessarily, Doyle actually won it back but then coughed it up again straight away.
We clearly need players back though, Chiwome did OK, great experience for him but not what we need to compete at this level.
Poor today, nothing else to say.

Even in the last ten minutes they go through the same routine when you need to move the ball forward.
Was it Stan Cullis that said, you cannot score when the ball is in your own half.
Al Hilal won again today, 4-3 away. Neves got an assist and Romain Saiss scored for the opposition.
Looks like we may just stutter to line now unfortunately. Can't complain though, been a good season all things considered.
Yea, but will still be disappointed if we don't finish in the top half.
Was Ait-Nouri injured or just struggling today a bit when subbed?

I think they are all struggling now to be fair. Far too much football played by too many of them.
I expect another flat performance on Tuesday and possibly a draw. Hopefully we see a reaction and an improvement on Saturday against West Ham.
We’re just running out of steam now aren’t we? Perfectly understandable all things considered. I just hope serious plans are in place to bring players in the summer, we are short at least three squad places.
We have to hope that the season doesn’t fall apart now after exceeding expectations so far. We should have signed a centre forward in January but nobody could have predicted that Cunha, Neto, Hwang and Bellegarde would all be injured at the same time and that’s inevitably had a big impact.
Yesterday we fell apart meekly after bringing kids off the bench with the one bright spot coming from Hugo Bueno who did ok and got in some good crosses. I think at Burnley maybe the time has come to bring him in and put Ait Nouri into a forward position and he would likely offer us more there than Chiwome or Fraser who just aren’t ready for this level

Agreed. Watching the two youngsters struggle in recent matches, has highlighted the magnitude of the task that Fabio faced when he was expected to fill the boots of Jimenez. Men against boys indeed.
Over 21,000 at Molineux today for the Conti Cup Final between Arsenal and Chelsea women's teams. Arsenal won it 1-0 with a goal 4 minutes from the end of extra time
