A bit controversial, I know, but I’ve seen a lot about “Farke knows his best 11”. I’m not been funny but I reckon 90% of us know his best 11. His job is to know who to select when his best 11 aren’t available - and to break up that Roden-Ampadu partnership was a ridiculous move. Should have started Gray in midfield and Bryam and Firpo in backs. Poor management - and I like Farke. But that was a bad call that’s cost us IMHO. (And opinions are what this site are about - right? Still love the lads and the team!)

I agree re: January - but even so, we’ve got enough on the bench to have made a better starting selection and not break up a CB partnership that hasn’t conceded in open play all year. Especially given how bloody minded he’s been about it when he could’ve changed it previously and it would have made more sense.

Not saying Bamford is playing well, he isn’t.

But been hearing this argument about him for 5 years. But when he’s out the team, then back in the team, we look better with him. Nketiah, Rodrigo, Rutter/Piroe now, we always look better with him starting despite much better players on paper

Look he’s not the greatest striker and I’ve not seen all the game - but how many chances has he had tonight?

was Ethan. I can see why Farke did what he did

No. I’m saying if he doesn’t get any service then it’s not his fault. Summerville had a chance to play him in and chose not to. Bamford was where a striker should have been.
