Tired of hearing how Gruev looks, runs, plays.

He's crucial. Without him we don't tick.

Farke’s selection cost us tonight. Love him, but he was naive in selecting Cooper and breaking up that partnership. And he had options to avoid doing it. Subs too late as usual too. Worry about him as a PL boss when he does things like he did today unfortunately.

Also, what a difference when Firpo came on. He gave us much more control down the left. Did I just say that? I'm just going to lie down for a bit. Thanks for the thread, Earl.

Yup.👍

Anyone know if Gruev will be back Monday???
If not then Archie has to play in midfield keeping Amps and Rodon at the back plus I'd be tempted to start Joseph too up front as his pace will unsettle any opposition defence.

Edited for avoidance of doubt
A good point in the end ... still in with a very good chance of automatic .. get the points vs Hull and we'll all ( Lowfields excepted) be happy Easter Bunnies

We came right back, Firpo was outstanding as the winger-in-disguise according to LUTV pundits, ( if only he could really nail down the art of the tackle) and the team despite depletion could show frequent flashes of class, a bit like an old-fashioned lightbulb on the blink.

Well played .. you can't win 'em all but the unbeaten run continues

Thanks for doing the thread, Earl. Cheers all

Absolutely, Macca

Joseph looks a good player. I wasn’t impressed early in the season just seemed to give away fouls but since that Plymouth start, he’s made an impact

I think if Roberts was fit, we’d have gone with Ampadu in defence and moved Gray infield. Just a shame the way it works, Firpo back late, Gruev injured, Roberts injured. Easy decision was put Cooper in

Nigel Pearson quality pundit, says it how it is, Leeds underperformed and looked vulnerable.

Well he can Farke right off then.
What's the betting on the score vs Hull?

Love him too. But, he has his first XI and what
appears to be a collection of other parts that don't
fit either his eye or system.

If we do go up, and he makes these errors in the
Prem, we'll be straight back down. Again.

That could easily be a defeat

If VAR was used, it would've been a defeat.

Yes of course we looked vulnerable with the starting 11 we put out which if everyone was available would have had 2 or 3 different personel and a totally different set up so let's not take things out of perspective.

Read lot of comments from you lots tonight… and your bickering….but there’s some simple facts here….

- firpo couldnt play 90 so Sam was always left back
- Roberts out so Archie was always going to be right back.
- gruev out so ampadu was always going back in the middle
- was always gonna replace ampadu with coops cos cresswell I tried in this team
- Summerville, James, Bamford we’re always gonna play as fit.
- was surprised rutter made it… thought he’d play piroe.

You really expected anyone else on the bench tonight to start?

So you’dve kept ampadu and Rodin together in defence. Fine. I understand why you’d say that but who goes in midfield with kamara?? Charlie crew ?? Prioe?? Am genuinely interested.

Hmmmm 🤔

Looks like Troy Deeney is on the Neville Southall diet plan.

Gray should have been in midfield, Shackleton at right back

OK Batty, that's probably true and we'd be a point worse off and ( more importantly) morale would have suffered. But by luck or judgement we didn't lose and were bossing it by the end. So I'm happy. I fancy our chances in the run-in based on that.

We also benefitted from Dennis going off.

He was doing whatever he wanted while on.
Once off, we had a chance. We got lucky.

Opposition goalie made a stunning save to win the point for Watford at the end. What we saw today was our character. The international break was terrible for us. The Wales boys looked like they were running on empty. If we have Gruev and Gnonto back for the Hull game, we have to take three points.
Big games coming up for Ipswich. The tractor boys keep digging in, but we ain't going away either.

Hull are no push overs either.

Just hope Watford raise their game away at Ipswich in a few weeks but listening to Cleverley he sounds like an intelligent ambitious young coach and hus players enjoy playing for him so we'll see what happens.
