He may or may not be, time will tell. One thing for sure he ended your unrealistic pursuit of an unprecedented quad, now that's hilarious 😉
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There was no quad ffs we’re not in the CL
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah sure, no what your fans were saying until they met their fate. 🫤
I’m never been ETH out but I’m not sure there are many more arguments for him. You can blame the Glazers or use any of the other cliches but conceding 31 shots to anyone let alone Brentford is an utter embarrassment.
Some defend Bruno and Rashford because of the irregular goal contributions but those two are utter dross now and we’re going nowhere with them in the team.

SE85, you'll always be flip flopping wet wipe. That will never change.
I am far from delusional. I am not against change, I am against change for the sake of change, that is something I've maintained from day 1. Whether you win a bragging right or not against an anonymous poster clearly means more to you than it will me! Good for you. I want what's best for the club so I can enjoy football. 😉😆
----------------------------------------------------------------------
unbelievable
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He knows he's wrong. That's what makes this hilarious.
He hates that once again I called it spot on.
ETH was dead man walking since the takeover. New owners can never resist the temptation to appoint their own man sooner of later. Usually sooner. That in itself makes it nigh on impossible for him. I don't think he's up to the job, but he isn't the only reason the team are a mess. They've been a mess for years.
It’s hard to make a pro TH argument but there are undoubtedly many factors at play with us.
How many defensive combos?
18 year old CM + McT in CM? Scott had 23 passes in 90mins with a 70% pass rate, lost possession 14 times, 1 tackle. (Kobbie had better in all of those)
Hojlund one shot on goal (again)
Rashford one shot
Garnacho no shots
We don’t have the right structure or play style, agreed.
But when your midfield is the above and you cannot keep defenders together consistently then it will lead to stats from the strikers like the above.
Get rid of him, don’t get rid of him - the problems will still remain.
The very soonest that we will be back up competing, realistically, is 4-5 seasons from now. As everything needs to change from the top down and that takes time.
Moyes, LVG, Jose, OGS, Rangnick - all failed. Now we can add ETH. Not one of those managers were top top drawer but most of them were very successful managers, including Erik. We weren’t getting dominated like this last season. Remember our form for that 3 month period? We had a consistent team - Martinez, Casemiro, Shaw, Rashford. And we played very good football for the most part.
EtH is complicit in the midfielders you have to choose from. Casemire Eriksen Amrabat Mount all brought in on his watch.
You cannot excuse poor structure of play and quality on a midfield that ETH has built over 2 seasons

It’s not really two seasons and I don’t think Casemiro was a TH signing, nor Mount. The others were due to financial constraints.
TH wanted FDJ, again and again and again.
But his signings haven’t worked out on the whole. But this was also the same for all of the other previous managers.

The excuses are getting worse too. Some crap about it taking a couple of weeks after the international break to readjust to his system. 1. There is no system worth speaking of, unless being the footballing equivalent of a punching bag is a system. 2. No team put in a worse performance than that after the internationals, so why are we the most affected? 3. We are shiiiite every week, not just after internationals
Have to cut Ten Hag some slack. United celebrated the goal very hard and they thought it was another late winner for them.
He was clearly still in shock when facing the cameras because he came out with a lot more bullsheet than usual.

Sure, your off pitch structure is bad, but ETH clearly has some sway in transfers as you've targeted ex ETH or Dutch based players

Casemiro really seemed like a Glazer signing, look at all of Erik’s other signings and not one of them matches Casemiro’s profile.
Like I said, probably all of the players that every manager since SAF have signed, failed. So this is not a matter of ETH being unique; there is a common problem and until that problem is identified and eradicated then United will see the same time and time again.

That’s 5 successive failed managers’ signings; yeah I think the problem is elsewhere.
Ten Hag might very well not be good enough but until United sort the mess upstairs out, we can never truly know. For all we know Jose might have been the (special) one.
The problem is we have a bunch of lazy entitled average players on huge salaries that know no matter how much they stink up the place, they’ll still get picked and maybe rewarded with a new bumper contract, a manager that doesn’t know what tactics he wants to play or how to implement what ever he’s trying to do and a bit of a coward. Then we have a useless board and owners that aren’t ruthless. It’s a cocktail of failure. It’s been the common theme over the past 10 years.
