Wow. What a list.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Great reading isn’t it? Like your list of female conquests - all 2 or 3 out of 10s 😉
On a serious note though , just think what Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Barca, Madrid’s lists look like. Some flops no doubt but some irrefutable successes - how many out of that United list could be called irrefutably successful?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City are the biggest cheats in football.
Arsenal have won what in that period of time?
Barca are in financial ruin.
Yeah, let's be like them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City have yet to be proven as cheating, either way they’ve still spent their money way better than we have and are organised from top to bottom with BIC.
Arsenal are in a much better position than we are, what’s your point here exactly?
Barcelona are also doing better than we are.
And you conveniently ignored Madrid & Liverpool.
So yeah let’s be like them, you’re right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which of those would you swap places with?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal, Liverpool, Madrid, Barcelona
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal and Madrid are 3 of the best run clubs.
Liverpool, lot of change in the background, so who knows how's how they do once Klopp and Salah go.
Barca are a joke.

Barca will be fine, thank you for confirming my point on the rest.
There seems to be a pattern at Man Utd. Finish in top 4 and then out the next season. Even Ole who got back to back top 4 finishes missed out when taking over and had us out when he got sacked.

For me it comes down to this:
new manager is given slack, as he looks to rebuild confidence and performances. The 'style' gets a free ride so long as the results are ok and progress is made.
Ole made United a very strong counter attacking side but when he tried to evolve into a more modern, front foot possession and pressing team, he learned that he did not have the players to deliver this and results suffered.
Ten Hag has had the same experience.
Both have relied on counter attacking and moments of brilliance from a talented squad to get results, but neither has been able to build the consistent, modern style that he better teams are playing. United have been carried by individual brilliance for a while now but that cannot be relied upon and will be sensitive to individual form - See form of Fernandes and Rashford over the years and how this correlates to results.
All of this compounded by some poor transfer dealings, which contribute to the up and down nature of results and performances.
