You didn't beat them or Arsenal in the league this season you numpty in fact you've only beaten one of the top 6 teams this season. Yes you're too now but let's see if you stay there.

Thought Arsenal bullied City and rattled them. Did you see Pep’s meltdown on the pitch at FT?? He’s cracking up. The reaction from the City fans on here is such a poor show, all of them bitter than Arsenal stood up to them and put City in their place.

Bit more of a cutting edge and Arsenal win 2-0 today. Better side but couldn’t take their chances.

Bitter that Arsenal*^^^

Thanks Arsenal...appreciated.

The real unknown quantity in the title race now is Liverpool. Several players in the first team and squad who are nowhere near good enough:

Gakpo
Endo
Nunez
Konate
Gomez
Szoboszlai

But they’ve got Klopp and they’ve got momentum; which are two ingredients that, if mixed, are dangerous and hard to stop.

I reckon if they beat us next week, which they won’t, they’ll possibly go on to win it.

Dignified

You parked the bus for 90 minutes and used players that bunked off playing for their countries midweek.

Arsenal bottled it...acted like a lower league team and stuck 11 behind the ball, mentally showed they dont believe they are good enough.

So pleased as well, we are clear at the top now...thanks

So what? The talk before the game was that if Arsenal won they’d be favourites for the league. You could have virtually put City out of it, and put it in your own hands. Instead you played not to lose. I’d be really disappointed if I was an Arsenal fan, and imagine if you come second by a point…..

Has Klopp ever won a league game at the Etihad? Why are Liverpool fans having a meltdown?

you can see Saka was not fit, what was Foden's excuse?

Fodens excuse is that he was playing a top half team that isn't called man united.

well according to Odegaard that wasn't their intention to just defend but they found it hard to attack with accuracy when they got the chance, if we miss out on the PL, it wasn't this game but the losses to West ham and Fulham

Meltdown? That’s a pretty odd take. So if you lose the league by one point, will you not look back at this game and question the approach?

No I'll look back at the Fulham games where we dropped 5 points.

I know city have traumatised Liverpool a lot over the last 6 or 7 years, but the world doesnt revolve around them you know.

Foden loves England duty so much cos its a good way to go cheat on his partner with less chance of her finding out
