Has Klopp ever won a league game at the Etihad? Why are Liverpool fans having a meltdown?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Meltdown? That’s a pretty odd take. So if you lose the league by one point, will you not look back at this game and question the approach?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I'll look back at the Fulham games where we dropped 5 points.
I know city have traumatised Liverpool a lot over the last 6 or 7 years, but the world doesnt revolve around them you know.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That makes no sense whatsoever. Are you ok?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How does that not make sense?

It makes no sense because as far as the league goes, everything pretty much does revolve around City, especially in the context of todays game. I get you’re trying to put a positive spin on today, but only an idiot would say that Arsenal didn’t miss an opportunity today.
It's always easy to question stuff in hindsight. Last year in this game City stuffed us and our young squad fell apart, playing it like this was the logical approach. It nearly came off and if we hadn't had the break and a bunch of rusty players coming back from injury the chance of that increasing would have been higher.
And if we lose the league by a point then obviously we're gonna look to points lost against Fulham, rather than our record against the other top teams, which is actually good.
Every game you drop points in is an opportunity lost. Nobody has said otherwise.
You'd have to be an even bigger moron to look back at the season and regret getting 4/6 points against city, when you only got 1/6 against Fulham.

But sometimes you just feel there was an opportunity for a statement win, and I do wonder if today was it.

Klopp is the only manager in world football to have a better Head to Head record vs Pep.
He's beaten Pep more times than Pep's beaten him despite Pep always having a massively massive advantage and a gulf in finances that one can only laugh at. Pep went from Barca to Bayern to City. Klopp went from Mainz to Bayern to Liverpool. Even Fergie, Mourinho etc got whooped and spanked and thrown in yesterday's trash by Pep. Only one man stands alone.

Yeah, I'm the odd one here.
It’s pretty clear what he meant though.
Liverpool won the title and didn’t have to win at the Etihad to get it. Pep only ever won once at Anfield too and that’s when Liverpool weren’t challenging for the title.
With this in mind it really is bizarre that the narrative is the onus is on Arsenal to go and win at the Etihad.
What has really happened here is City fans are extremely butthurt that a team has finally gone to the Etihad and successfully parked the bus, and Liverpool fans are butthurt that we didn’t put a 4 point gap between them and City. They don’t see us as a threat to the title and that’s fine.
Time will tell at the end of the season but if we don’t win the league, I’ll be looking at the blanks we fired against Villa, Newcastle, West Ham as well as the points dropped at home to 10 man Fulham as the reason. I won’t be blaming it on the 8 points we have taken from our title rivals.

Your narrative is wrong. Liverpool do see Arsenal as a threat, you lot are just making that up. I think we’re just puzzled with the approach. My point is that you’ve missed the opportunity to put space between yourselves and City, and City definitely have the easiest run in on paper of all three teams.
It was the perfect result for Liverpool, it’s now in our own hands.

I'm not.
I'm just fully aware of how difficult it is. Going to the Etihad and winning isn't easy, as I'm sure all Liverpool fans are aware. Even Klopp hasn't done it has he?

Klopp has beaten Pep at the Etihad. Fack are you on about?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In the league? I don't recall it, but I'm open to being surprised.

You didn’t say anything about who the manager.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh no. Sue me.

Feckin hell, you’re an odd one.

Better watch how you talk when you talk about Jurgen Son of Odin, or we'll come take your life away.

*Dortmund not Bayern.

Mamba isn’t really a very good yardstick when it comes to being normal.
