----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely... 2020 semi finalist, beat Ronnie in 2021, Beat Judd last year
Ben Mertens beats Rod Lawler 10-9, he was 8-3 down and was 40 odd behind in the decider but made a 68 clearance up to the pink.
Whilst McGill has had some good Crucible performances, his form has been patchy this season and coming through the qualifiers can be so tough.
Zhou Yeulong 9-0 up against James Cahill.
Hossein 6-3 up on Fu, Bingham 5-3 down
Maguire through too.. 10-7
I saw Slessor and Clarke both out also. There's a hell of a lot of good players outside the 16 these days.
Robbo 6-0 up. Perry 4-0 down
Century for Robbo and he leads 7-1.
hard to believe Robbo has to play the qualifiers this year to make through to the main draw

It can happen, and he has been badly out of form. Although didn't stop Ding reaching the final, when he had to go through qualifying. I guess if you get through it, it does make you 'match fit'
Vafaei looking good leading 8-3.

It's still great to hear of 147s being made, but it's lost a bit of its sparkle. The Thorburn one of course stands out, but Kirk Stevens one is a fav of mine.
