What do we all think about the FA's latest faux pass?

Yes, the belief is definitely 'gowing'. We're literally 4 points from promotion!

"Gowing" is an old Scots word, the equivalent of the English "gurning". Also used as in 'I'm going to the pub"

I'm gutted to be in London - I won't even be able to get audio walking around.
Perhaps if I miss the train tonight?

I got the short straw so have to take Little Desi to a kids party tomorrow....for 4pm

How inconsiderate to book a party at that time!

Is that because of Brexit? I'd have assumed that even in London the phone signal was decent enough and a cheeky single airpod inserted in the ear furthest from any accompanying family would do the trick whilst still allowing the possibility to feign interest in surroundings/family.

I wouldn't bother with the London Marathon, View. It's too flat, so insufficiently challenging. Getting there is a pain in the backside, the queues for the bogs are longer than the marathon route itself and other runners just get in your way. Better with something like the Snowdonia Marathon. Nice and hilly, good chance of bad weather and you can go miles without seeing anyone. I think my favourite was the Loch Ness which might appeal to you as you get a tot of whiskey at the finish.

That would suit me, as I'd only manage about three miles anyway.

Airpods are so old school. I was told I needed a hearing aid in my right ear. Went for the most expensive option. Almost invisible - and Bluetooth enabled. I get to listen to Rams TV without Mrs P knowing at all.
