Alonso won the trophies with us and made another CL final. Also we were favourites for the title before he left so I don't see how it was success related.
He's won very little since leaving us.
Also you have no proof to suggest he left for trophies/success.

Here's something to prove it wasn't lack of success that drove it out.:

I hope to see a little bit of Coady and Suso this season, but I doubt it. Spearing isn't good enough, but he is good enough as a squad filler being scouse, homegrown and a worker.
