While it’s impressive what Wolves have managed with such a comparatively low wage bill, it must be frustrating that as soon as you produce a decent player he gets sold on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is frustrating. However, at least we are not breaking the rules.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m sure that will be great comfort to you if you end up back in the Championship, as selling clubs tend to.
Blues win their final game but go down anyway

What do you suggest? Cheat, and hope we can get away with it? Seems a bit of a gamble.
Brighton have consistently sold and finished mid table, it is possible. I wouldn’t expect a club with 115 charges hanging over them to understand though

Mate I’ve supported City a lifetime. I’ve seen at least four relegations, supported them in division 3 and yes I’ve seen us lose our better players to bigger clubs. I was trying to be sympathetic. Anyway I hope you do get past it, and build on your premiership status.
Selling isn’t always bad. We sold Nunes for a fortune who was doing next to nothing for Wolves. Now we’re buying Doyle for a twelfth of that price and he has been far better than Nunes
That Nunes deal is quite amazing really when you think just how bad he looked for us a majority of the time.
Sa
Semedo, Kilman, Toti
Ait Nouri, Gomes, Traore, H. Bueno
Lemina
Hwang, Cunha
That’s the 11. My guess at how they’ll line up
yeah, would be surprised if it were a back four against city
Great decision by Birmingham to sack Eustace as manager in October when they were 6th. Then he took over at Blackburn who won on the last day to send Blues down
Could be 3-5-1-1, but glad Neto is not in squad, despite some even wanting him to start this week. No Doyle either, who may have had a knock.
Two players I think will feature more next season is Hugo Bueno (who I think is very unlucky not to have had more game time) and Enzo Gonzales, who's on the bench. Add Lembikisa (who starts for Hearts today) and we have good cover if RAN and Semedo leave in the summer.
Doyle can't play as City own him
Lembikisa and Gonzalez will go on loan I suspect
2nd one was a penalty, first one definitely wasn't. The second goal was just bad defending.
Would take 3-0 now.
Semedo is not a full back and neither is RAN. They are both best suited as wing backs. Not sure why Kilman keeps playing in the centre of a back 3.
We certainly need to revamp our defence for next season.
May as well have given Pawson a blue shirt.
To be fair the second was a pen but telling that that R sole Pawson didn't actually give it. Useless .
Unlucky with the first penalty. Ait Nouri made the challenge for a fifty fifty ball and it’s the kind we probably wouldn’t have got if it was the other end.
Second and third goals showed why Semedo isn’t a centre back. Easily beaten for the second by Haaland in the air, Semedo didn’t really make it difficult for him. And the third one was a sure fire penalty with Semedo tackling from the wrong side
No surprise if the final score is ugly

Spot on wulfrun
Watched the first half in a pub in Lich but can't be rsed now and getting the bus home
To be honest we didn't play that badly, but we were up against the best team in the league, with the best striker in the league on top form. Didn't help when the ref gave them an early lead.
Onwards and, hopefully, upwards.
Yes it was the kind of thing that can happen against City, especially when they’re in a must win game. We can find faults with Wolves, but in truth City would have beaten anyone tonight
Let's be honest lads 5-1 flattered you.
