Celtic have just won their 12th Scottish title in 13 years.

They would do well in the Premier League, By well I mean just avoid relegation.

I think they would do better than we think and then of course add in the extra money then they would be top half sides soon enough.

I think it’s important to recognise that the attitude of Wolves supporters is not mainly driven by Wolves suffering more than most from bad decisions. It’s about the system that has taken away the pleasure of celebrating a goal, and has lead to lengthy breaks in the game that spoils the spectacle. When we scored against Palace there was a lengthy delay while offside was considered. Then the goal was celebrated. Then even though the decision went for us there was the usual derision towards the VAR process

As for the Fabio stories. The player has asked his agent to try to find him a club in the Italian or Spanish top flights. The surprise to me is that £20m is being discussed as the fee and that the likes of Milan and Seville are supposedly interested. Nice to think that could come true but hard to imagine

So if the vote on VAR is taking place next month, will it be the relegated or promoted clubs that will be part of the decision? Gut feel is that PGMOL have too much invested in it and by association the league will lobby against the change. That list of Cinci's above, if accurate, is quite incredible though. And of course doesn't include that farce away at Anfield in the cup last year.

Some of these league tables that show how the league table would look without var only show a part of the story. They tend to show the effect of decisions changed by VAR. What they don’t show is the effect of decisions not changed which subsequently have been shown to have been wrong. And that’s what’s affected Wolves most

Looking at the relative positions of Liverpool and us on that table we can probably expect a couple more on Sunday.-------------------------------------------
