Antony. People talk about him being one of the greatest Brazilians ever, but I don't see it myself.

There's an argument for every single player at our club being overrated...........

Bit difficult as we are doing so well. But if i had to pick one it would be Zinchenko. His game management is dreadful, major mistake in him every game. Give the ball away in dangerous places and essentially isn't a very good defender.

Other notable mentions go to Jesus and Nketiah (although not sure he is overrated)

Madders imo.

Mainoo probably. Talented very bright future but hasn’t been as good as made out. More because he’s a bright spot in a dark season. He’ll probably earn that though

Agree with this, Zinchenko cost you that Villa game.

I think everyone knew that Jesus wasn’t prolific, but his overall contribution to build up play is very good

Probably the 3 least rated players in our squad surely.

I would say Thomas Partey, the way some talk about him it is as if he is the best DM in the world. He had a good spell last season but at the business end went missing. Prior to that it was very rare for him to be great, odd game here and there. Should have taken the Arab money in the summer.

I'd say Amad personally over Mainoo from what I read from our fanbase.

He's a decent little player nothing more. Perhaps unlucky to not have been given more chances in the first team but he's never going to be a regular starter for us. I just don't think he's that good.

I like the look of him, I think he could be a top player. United have plenty of schitt sandwiches - Rashford is the epitome of a streaky player, Casemiro was fawned over in his first season - look at him now.

if the argument for Romero being overrated is the number of goals we concede then surely VDV is overrated too

anyway we've lost 4 in a row so currently all our players are underrated

when we win some games they'll all be overrated again

No one rates Zinny or Nketiah, though, not anymore.

Jesus I think is rated fairly. Not amazing but a good option.

Not really sure with Arsenal. Maybe Raya? Must not be too many worse keepers who have won the golden glove, benefitted massively from the best defence in the league. Decent enough but not a top level keeper like Alisson, Ederson and whoever else

Absolutely, few 6/7/10 with the odd 10 star showing, just often enough to keep people talking.

And tbh....he doesn't come across as very likeable, keen to give it billy big ball locks, absolute cry baby when having to take it back.

VDV is younger, in his first year with us and was injured for a long period. Romero has none of those excuses.

I do think VDV is overrated though, people like Rio calling him the best defender in the league despite his lack of aerial ability is just laughable

He comes across a fair weather player at times. Loves a bit of Forest, Luton and Burnley, but not the top half of the league.

He is not poor, but I was expecting more

yeah he clearly just can't get through a whole season staying fit, gets kicked so much and he doesn't have the frame to handle that

it's why we need another option there

For the love of god I hope it’s Eze. I can’t believe he and Olise are still at Palace. That Wharton is starting to look the business as well. Add Guehi and Mitchell and Palace could be a real menace with a couple more decent signings

I agree with Baz for our one. Mainoo isn't anywhere near as good as some of the Muppets on here have been rating him.

At this stage of his career, he should not be in a midfield two for us.
