Congratulations to the Saints, so that's Leeds we'll be facing twice next season. The other incredibly tough fixtures will be West Brom,Norwich, Middlesbrough and against the three sides relegated.

I'm dreading playing Leeds if they retain that pace in their side and we play with some of our elderly statesmen.

Cardiff manager agrees to remain with the club signing an extension deal. This should help make the Adams decision a smoother process now. Ideally in our favour!!!!

I read that last night but don't think it's been confirmed by the club yet.
Also heard Sibs isnt going to Rotherham but staying here, Collo considering his options, Ben Osborne at Moor Farm along with Iverson from Leic and Bobby Clarke from Liverpool...alledged 1 year loan...its silly season so we don't believe it til we see it....Cheers. Terry in Spain 🇪🇸 until tonight...

Friday June 14th is when the summer transfer window opens so we've got to hold out until then. Worst part of the season all this waiting around for something to happen.

Who is your Moor Farm mole Terry?

From what I've seen of Osborne he seems a bit like Thommo. I'm not sure how Adams could have signed as he is in Africa (I think) on international duty. Iverson looks a good goalie from what I've seen but I know nothing about Clark except that he's highly rated.

Can't reveal names but usually reliable. That said he told me about Jordan Rhodes last season...and look what happened there...just arrived back in UK...its cold

Just on Sibley, I've heard from a reliable source he's 100% not staying. No idea where he's going.

From what I heard we offered him a one year deal on less money than he's on now.

Essentially the reason for that is because we've offered him a new deal, we'll be entitled to compensation because he's an academy player....who knows ????

...also heard we're in for an Icelandic midfielder....but again ????

Thanks Terry.

Sorry about Sibley if true but I suspect he knows he would not have a nailed-on first team spot and he's seen Bird and Knight spread their respective wings.

My brother lives in Devon and constantly tells me how cold and wet it is there. It's only just started warming up here and we are plagued by a 17-year cycle of thousands of cicadas. The din is incredible and constant - up to 90 dbs apparently. (What I mean is that this type of cicada emerges from the ground every 17 years.) Fortunately they are harmless and do not bite or sting.

Well, we were spoilt by the wall to wall sunshine of Spain...it was a shock to come back to the cold of the British summer. Saw Jorvik a couple of times whilst there which was nice....and to swap Rams stories.
I've never heard of Cicadas!!
Still no signings eh...but I think the transfer window opens Friday ???

I was under the impression you had moved permanently to Spain but maybe that has yet to come so you and Jorvik can form a fan base (and scouting network!)

This species of cicada (there is another and they have a thirteen year cycle) is just over an inch long and nearly half an inch wide. It has protruding red eyes, yellow legs and large iridescent wings. Their sole purpose is to mate and then die and this all happens over about a month. They emit a chirping sound but this time there is also an underlying hum and this din is constant from when the day warms up until evening. Go for a walk or play golf and you have to dodge them as they fly around seemingly in a haphazard manner. They often land on you but are easily flipped off. Really interesting but wearing after a while.

Like describing the Notts Forest fans on the Ja606 forum minus the 'really interesting ' part.

Buenos tardes amigos

Qué Tal?

Yes the window opens this Friday, whether we have any immediate activity we'll have to wait and see given three players in one day came in to see PW.

The Osbourne rumours continue, would we want to see this ex red-dog come to Pride Park. I'm usually against signing ex Forest players but given his experience and Derby connection I am slightly enticed by this one.

I saw ex Derby player T Lawrence linked with Ipswich today. Unusual if it happens given his injury record but he probably had his finest season in East Anglia with the tractor boys.

Not sure if his name has been mentioned yet but Jeff Hendrick became a free agent. The ex player connection makes him appealing but his anti Derby board comments in support of Keogh may alienate him.

I suspect Sibley will be off ( which will break Ang's heart) if he's offered a lesser salary. As he's seeing those around him move on to better financially he'll want the same for his future too. I expect him to sign for a mid table Championship side, be positioned as a no 10 and turn into an absolute sensation with PL queueing up to sign him for the following season at £30-40 million pounds.

This Derby Way doesn't suit us. Can we try another way?

The Cicadas sound a lot like the "Christmas Beetles" we got in Zambia....so called because they hatch out at Christmas... I've heard the noise they make in Spain but never actually seen them there....
We were very close to moving permanently to Spain but the tax rate there for us is too high...so we'll stick with 6 months of the year. We overlook Mojacar FC ground so keep Warney informed of likely looking talent...Jorvik informed me today it was raining there today...its not stopped raining here since we got back. UTR. Cheers. I wonder what the tax rates in UK could be after the election. You may get to emigrate yet Terry!

Apparently dogs like to eat cicadas and folks with birdfeeders are finding no takers as the little feathered guys are guzzling cicadas instead.

Yes, sad to hear about wee Willie. He was a great addition to that promotion-winning team.

Keep dry!

The Karamoko Dembele transfer links are certainly gaining momentum this afternoon and evening. On loan at Blackpool and clearly one of their better players the tricky winger/ attacking midfielder would be an excellent addition and a statement signing for Derby

He's a player that certainly fits the Paul Warne mould of strong, athletic and quick. Dembele and Adams as our first two signings would be a fabulous start.

He stood out in the away game last season. I clocked him and thought he looked useful. We need a bit of tricky.
