Hodge and Lembikisa are not travelling to USA with both being lined up for loans. Chiquinho has travelled and Wolves will decide later whether he becomes part of the squad for the new season or will sign for Sporting Lisbon
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No surprise on Hodge and Lembikisa. Was the obvious next step

Chiquinho could be a handy option off the bench when we need some pace. Depends what Sporting are offering i guess.

Guedes takes his place on the plane but still likely to leave
- Fabio did not travel, likely to leave
- Dexter and Hodge did not travel, looking for loans (Hodge close to Huddersfield)
- Chiwome has a hamstring injury, stayed at Compton
- Fraser takes Chiwomes place but is likely to leave on loan
- Jose Sa, Nelson Semedo, Pedro Neto and Joao Gomes are all due to meet up with the squad half-way through the US tour
- the return of the Portugal/Brazil players meant that youngsters Jimmy Storer, Wes Okoduwa and Nigel Lonwijk did not travel
- Luke Rawlings, 16, has kept his place with the team however, due to Wolves' midfield shortage.
- Cundle also made the trip (no detail if he is expected to stay)
- no expectation that Enso or Boubacar will join up for preseason due to their participation in the Olympics

The gane was halted for 35 minutes in the cup tie between Albion and wolves earlier this year. Albion have now been fined £30k and warned about future conduct after an investigation

So just a slap on the wrist after the worst crowd trouble seen at an English ground for decades

Olympics starts in France on Friday and in the football Enso Fernandes represents Paraguay and Boubacar Traore plays for Mali. The tournament follows the same lines as the euros with a group stage followed by QF, SF and Final

Paraguay and Mali have been drawn in the same group and they meet in the final group game. First game of interest comes next Wednesday when Paraguay play Japan

By the way it's Enso González, not Enzo Fernandez.

If you persist in trying to be the first with news, for goodness sake get it right.

Interesting start to the Olympics football. Morocco leading Argentina 2-1 until the Argies equalised in the 16th minute of added time at the end of the game. Cue missiles raining on to the pitch from Morocco fans and the referee taking the players off with a presumption the game had finished. Then about an hour later it was announced the equaliser had been disallowed for offside by VAR. Then with the stadium by now empty the players came back on to play the final 3 minutes of added time. Morocco won 2-1

Well, Enso didn't start, but came on after 81 mins and got himself a yellow card in stoppage time. Japan won 5-0 with Paraguay playing two thirds of the game with 10 men.

Boubacar has the captains armband and Bali are 0-0 at HT. He's playing in a defensive midfield role and hasn't put a foot wrong in a even game thus far.

Wolves trained today in their summer camp and although the heat is probably the same as Marbella, they will have to get used to the humidity, which can drain your energy very quickly. I assume they will have drink breaks in each half and use all or most of the squad.

Their two games here in Florida kick off at 7pm and 7.30pm respectfully and the humidity is still very high, even at that time of the evening.

If you're going to be 1st with the news at least get it right - Bali aren't playing today

Mali drew 1-1 with Israel in what was evidently an even game

Ok Mali had over 60% possession, twice as many shots, three times as many shots on target, 9 times as many corners, double the touches in the opposition box, but otherwise a very even game

Reports tonight saying Liverpool are prepared to outbid Arsenal to sign Neto, offering £60m

And they might go for a double signing with Ait Nouri too. Worryingly the reports claim Ait Nouri has a buyout clause in his contract for just £38m

Oh man!!! I watched the end of that. saw the he equaliser, the objects thrown etc, then turned it off, didn't realise VAR intervened later. That is ridiculous.

Heard that a few times now. Would seem unlikely to me but perhaps not.

Self evidently Podence is still keen on moving away and is seemingly and evidently eager to secure a deal elsewhere.

Catching up on the excellent 2019 Wolves team that qualified for Europe in their first season back in the top flight. Many of the players are still playing in the Premier League. Patricio played for Roma for three seasons but his contract expired last month and he’s now a free agent. Jonny went to PAOK in Greece and helped them win the Greek title. So he will get to play Champions League next season. And the legend that is Joao Moutinho is now 37 but still played 30 games for Braga last season helping them to 4th in the Portuguese league and to win the Portuguese League Cup

Try reading what I posted again. It was a comment made about the first half. You obviously didn't see the game, but there were many periods of the first half when Israel were on top. The second half was completely different.

Evidently some posters don't realize that the game is played over two 45 minute periods?

The stats in the first half were almost identical to the second half. Israel made two changes at the break because they were being outplayed.

The Israel national anthem was met by jeers, their team was booed throughout the game and there were a few scuffles in the crowd. All on the day when their Prime Minister was given a standing ovation by the American congress

Evidently this is not a good time to be signing 18 year old Palestinian centre backs Spanner?
