True but I feel even if we’d been a bit better than we have been and finished higher etc they would still want their guy in.

I mean if the club don’t think he’s the answer and have a replacement in mind then we probably need to do it asap while also giving him the final that he got us to.

It’s why I wasn’t that bothered by the timing of LVG’s sacking, yes it looked a bit harsh because he’d just won the cup but he was also sh-t all season and needed to go.

Tbf I don’t think this journalist has any links to the club.

As much as I agree with the decision and think he does deserve to lose his job......the way the media have absolutely hounded him of late is nothing short of a disgrace.

They asked him in the presser the other day 'how does it feel Erik that this could be your last game in charge'

Absolute jokers. How is he even meant to respond to a question like that anyway? Talk about kicking a man when he's down.

I don't know what to think of this really.

On the eve of the Cup Final seems harsh but it could be that it's Ten Hag's people that have leaked this. Make people feel sorry for him. Perhaps get a bit of a reaction from the fans etc.
