He's holes up at the hotel so should happen. Might take time with visas, international clearance all that baloney.

5th signing. Balances the left side up nicely. Now let's not get him injured.

Szabolcs Schön on a three-year deal from Fehérvár. At 23 if he's any good we could be in for a good payday sometime down the line.

No, I don't want to get shut of him just yet, but as the club keeps saying, we need to be a trading club.

International paperwork might make tomorrow's game too early for us to see him play his first game. However, everything will have been sorted before we kick off in the league next Saturday..

His first name sounds like something Mork would say!
If the reported 800grand, plus extras is anywhere near what we paid, we don't have much left in the xfr purse.

Proof of the pudding as they say. Let's see what he can do, see if IE has spent wisely when the fun starts a week today.

Is it 22 outfield players over 21 your allowed to name in the squad? That leaves a space for 1 signing without letting players go although could leave Mendes Gomes out as he isn't back until new year. Wouldn't make sense to loan matheson and Conway out as they don't count as under 21 and we do get a lot of injuries. Not expecting a lot. One or two more in then some fringe players out on loan then another trolley dash in January to cover for the injured or am I being cynical with that?

2 matches today. First team away at port vale. B team at Atherton colls. Half tempted to go to Atherton to see what younger players we have or if Forino, Dempsey, Southwood get a run out.

There's still time to make some room by selling.
Nobody has been in a rush to buy anybody so far, we might have to wait until somebody gets desperate, on transfer deadline day.

Waited for the team sheet but no first teamers in the b team so skipped it. A 3-0 win for the first team. Looks like we have a starting 11 for orient. One or two will need time to catch up plus Forrester, Jones, Dempsey and Williams still out injured.

I'd like to hear more on how the Trialist triplets played for the B team. Will we see one or two of them signed up to top up the B team numbers.
I still can't get over, how badly that's been managed with so few games and no proper league. According to the club website, we play Stokes B team this Tues and then nothing.

The real stuff starts next Saturday.
Can we avoid training injuries and cones tackling hard, as we prepare for the big kick off.

I think we should keep what we have, You can never have enough players. Think about what happened from December onwards last season, the injuties piled up and at that stage there was no plan to recruit until it bacame obvious that we needed more bodies in to cover.

We will still get more players in before the transfer window closes, basically becuase the club has realised that we can't afford to be light on players. It's crucial that we are ready for what is shaping up to be another hard season.

On a positive note we won the game yesterday and our latest recruit seems to fit the bill. Of course it's early days but it looks positive right now.

IE is saying, we are 3 or 4 light in the squad and expecting some new arrivals.
Somebody had better open the exit turnstile and prepare to juggle the number of slots.

We could be starting the season, with a team which will look different again by the time everything is sorting and the window closes.
Then you have to throw in, the getting up to speed of any new arrivals and those released from the sick bay.
I best not mention any with a new injury or somebody with a reoccurrence of an injury.

It's a handy reminder, why you shouldn't buy new shirt and have a player's name put a on the back. They could be off or end up without a slot and relegated to the B team.

Notice Matheson and Conway don't get a number.

Thanks Benny
I think there's a clue to two going out on loan there.

Are we going to sign another player before the big kick-off? I hope so but I have my doubts. I think the best opportunity would be to get the secret foreign player in, the prospect of coming to England to play could be a big draw for some players.

We seem to be struggling to prize the English players away from their clubs at the moment, whether that changes soon or not, is anyone's guess. Evatt wants to bring in three or four more players and I understand there can be complications, but the longer it goes on, worries me that it won't happen.

Quite a few first teamers got minutes. Just feel let down by the Atherton game personally.

So, Opta Computer sees BWFC as winning the first division title this coming season. That is based on the current situation but also says that could change.

I will believe it if it happens and not before. If we are top of the pops in January by a good margin, I might start to believe. For now, I will take every game as it comes.

Only a few more days before the grand kick-off.

“Psychology in football is another thing that is extremely underestimated and undervalued,” the manager insisted.

So how many sports psychologist have we recruited so far.
How long have I been crying out to get some in. 3,4 or more would do. Some is better than none.

So if Evatt continues with his plan A with just a few tweaks, Des Buckingham has signalled to all the managers in the first division how to nulify our play.

He will have done this with the sole purpose of giving every team in the division, a remedy of how to stop us playing.

What will Evatt do with his tweaks to stop this happening and will he be successful in beating their tacticks?

Buckingham couldn't have gone into greater detail. I just hope that Evatt can nullify these teams because we are going to be up against it.

So another one bites the dust. Joel Randall has committed is staying with Peterborough United after signing a new three-year deal.

I think when you don't get any encouragement that a club is willing to sell a player you want, move on quickly and find another player who fits what you want.

The season starts on Saturday and Evatt recons we are three or four players short. We might sign another player but I think we will end up signing player form the Prem on loan for the season who may or may not be good enough.

I think all this waiting for players to become available is nonsense, sign the best players that are available and have done with it.
