Only a casual follower of tennis, but can anyone explain to me why, for 3 Slams in a row now, Sinner & Alcaraz have been in one half of the draw, and Djoko has been in the other? Am I missing something? Why are the 1 & 3 seeds in the same half … yet again?

To be fair, I could be wrong but I thought it was always staggered like that.
I mean you can’t have 1&2 in the same half?
And I’m sure Alcaraz & Sinner won’t meet until the semi.

Maybe she’s got an injury of some kind. Has anyone said why she serves this way?,.,, but she sure got a swift forehand on her!

I haven't heard the commentators say why she serves like that.
