I'm honestly not that bothered about getting a top four place anymore. I just want to see us win a trophy, any trophy, even if it's just a league cup. 'Competing' in the Champions League just makes Levy and Enic more money and means we neglect the domestic trophies even though they are our most realistic chance of actually winning something.

I still think over time Sarr has the qualities to be come a commanding number 6.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This
************* Vicario
Porro *** Romero *** VdV *** Udogie
*** Sarr *** Palhinha *** Eze
*** Olise *** Sesko *** Son
Vicario
Porro Romero vdV Udogie
Sarr Bentancur
Olise Maddison Son
Kulu
Olise will end up at United this summer I reckon.
Because I don't think it's likely
I think it’s more likely than ending up with us
I’d love Olise but there is no way Levy will fork out the 60-70m Palace will be looking.
I’d be happy with:
KWP 10-15m (Covers both flanks)
Gallagher 35m (Chelsea need to sell)
Morgan Gibbs White 35m (Forest need to sell)
Sell:
Royal 15m
Rodon 10-12m
Reguilon 10-12m
Ndombele
Lo Celso 10-15m
Spence 8m
Would leave us with a net spend of 30/40m
Bergvall and Veliz would also get chances with all the extra games. As other have said Kulu can play the 9. So could MGW in this system imo

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Obviously, but what’s your reasoning?
I think unless City are making him a priority he’ll end up at United. Not sure City are after him, though.
Olise is a Utd fan so he would more than likely choose them over us. If utd turn it into a bidding war, we will lose.
Eze reportedly wants to stay in London so that would give us a better chance.

Just a feeling. What makes you think he'd pick United over Spurs?
I don’t even think it would get to the point of it being a choice due to Spurs not paying the money for the player that we would. There’s a number of other reasons why I think the player would choose United over Spurs, but that’s the main one.
I wouldn’t write of Chelsea getting him, though.

Money
I am not sure people understand how much of a mess our squad is in.
We need more home grown. (Do not want to be naming less numbers with our injury record.)
We need more home grown club players.
We have a huge surplus of players.
We have nobody in between currently. By in between i mean a young squad usually you will have freebies not needing to be registered. sarr and udogie for example they now need to be registered.
We have youngsters we need to incorporate. Which makes the signing of Werner so bizarre.
The if you forget all the above we need to improve the starting eleven a striker and defensive midfielder.
Then improve the squad Royal HAS to go as do Hojberg and they need replacing.
We struggled with injuries yet we have one of the biggest squads in the premier league. In fact as it stands i believe we have the biggest squad in the entire league. Over 21 players.
One player is Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen. Throw the kitchen sink at them.

Surely striker is going to be where Spurs sign a more expensive player anyway? What with Johnson and Kulusevski holding down the right wing.
Darren
No idea tbh. Though it could well be that a decent striker (Sesko release clause) costs less than a decent midfielder
Yep blow all the money on one player and forget about the rest or the squad. Just like the good old Rebrov days.

Yeah that a big part of my reasoning for signing KWP, Gallagher and MGW. All three improve our squad with a or 2 being regular starters.
What’s his release clause? Striker’s a really tough market at the moment, the few good ones will cost an absolute fortune as they’re so rare.

Nah Richarlison has that covered. Plus Kulusevski, Son or Johnston can play there at push. Plus Veliz coming back from Seville. Also Scarlett. Can’t see us signing a traditional 9. It will be a forward that can cover a few positions imo
