What’s his release clause? Striker’s a really tough market at the moment, the few good ones will cost an absolute fortune as they’re so rare.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Around £50m but he will be giving up CL football to come to us. Can't see it.
Most clubs these days only really have one traditional no9 in their squad. Dont see why we will be any different.
What Luka said. Sounds like one of those clauses that shifts with time or the journos reporting it are just a shambles. Anyway. €50-60m is a heck of a lot less than a top CDM these days and less than they want for Eze

Seeing as Richarlison plays 9 for Brazil I’d say that’s not the case. I was far from his biggest fan when he signed. But that said he puts in the effort. The main issue is keeping him fit imo
Yeah top defensive mids are probably even harder to find than strikers.
We’re in that boat this summer with Casemiro facking off.

Nah but Amrabat was beginning to look like the player everyone thought he was towards the season end there
I don't mind Belfast's suggestion of KWP. One year left, he will be cheap. Plus we have Abbott who can play right back. I think he will be closer to the first team next season.

Yeah Luka it just makes sense imo. Time will tell. Hopeful Ange know what’s needed and what he wants
Amrabat had two good games, we won’t sign him because he’s been shiiiiit.
Wouldn’t be a surprise it us, Spurs and Liverpool will be looking at similar targets for defensive mid this summer, given their needs and the lack of top quality in the position.
How are Utd doing in terms of PSR?

I am not sure people understand how much of a mess our squad is in.
---
I'd like to think most on here know what players we've got
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course buddy but its a mess It needs a big restructure. Let alone the constant improvement required.
The reason Arsenal are doing so well is their squad is settled. Rice and Raya this season. They'll be replacing Partey and pushing jesus/ havertz to backup centre forward next season.
Arsenal are four years in to the Arteta project we are 12 months in.
Our squad isn’t a mess that’s a complete hyperbole.
It needs fine tuning and then complimenting the Europa with our u21s.

Part of it, sure, but like Hengy said, they've had 4 years of Arteta.. our players will look better next season for not having to learn a new style of football.
That said I do understand what you're getting at - there's a heap that need shifting and some key pieces missing.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hyperbole?
Ndombele/rodon/tanganga/spence/reguillon all to leave.
Dier/Perisic/sess officially leave next month.
lo celso/hojberg/royal/gil/solomon/Parrott all heavily tipped to leave.
Whiteman/Austin one to go on loan.
We lose two spaces of the 25 man squad this season to sarr and udogie.
There is no other club undergoing this sort of restructure.
The whole squad is a mess. home grown and club home grown issues. With 14 players potentially leaving before we look to improve the team.
My Arsenal comment is that they build from a position of strength improving their first 11 something we could easily do if we signed a top quality centre forward and a defensive midfielder to push Richarlison and Biss to the bench.

So not even mid June and we’ve sorted out from the above
Dier, Sessegnon, ndombele, Perisic and extended Roden.
Spence and Emerson in negotiation to leave.
Doing very well so far
Reguillion may get a chance again with sess let go
Could be a decent left winger to give width as an option as well as lb back up
