Or when you get back to your car, and another car comes along and waits for you to to get in & leave your parking space, holding up all the traffic behind when they could just go and find another parking space a few steps further away

Another thing that bugs me about supermarkets, is when Sheriff Pepper is discussing my wife

Why is sheriff discussing your wife?

I won't lie when it comes to buying chicken breasts, i do check the underside of the packaging to see which breasts has the least amounts of the red bloody blotches on the undersides of them.

I tend to find Asda and Aldi do pretty crappy chicken, Tesco isn't so bad

I'll also open the box of eggs to see which ones do no have bird sh!!t or feathers all over them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t get thinking for your second point. Are UK people too ‘Sanitised’ with their food, and animal products? The actual part of the egg you’re eating will be protected no matter how many feathers or bird chit is on the egg shell. You may as well wipe all your eggs clean before using.

I've always checked eggs to see if they're not broken before I've bought them.

Families who treat it like a day out

Only one of you needs to go food shopping. 2 adults and 2 little runts walking side by side is insane.
Leave the little caaants at home
=====
People who get jelly of beautiful families going shopping together at the supermarket. Those little caaants don't want to be left at home. They want to help Mum and/or Dad with the shopping and it's a chance to learn and interact.

Who knows if and where the next parking space is? My grandpa always used to say a parking space in hand is worth two around the corner.

I have an old car. Have to warm up the engine first. If I start driving too quickly the engine might knock and then you won't be getting the parking space anytime soon. Why don't you just wait a couple of minutes so my engine can warm up?

I look at it as well if im at home preparing food and there's a dried up piece of sh!!t next to where im chopping up some meat or veg im not gonna do that while there's dried up sh!!t there am i. I'm gonna clean the surface first. Or additionally, try and make sure there's no sh!!t around where there's food and still clean the surfaces where im prepping. That's also good!

I won't clean off every single speck on each egg but if half of the eggs are covered in filth im gonna buy the next box of eggs

My biggest issue in supermarkets is the self-checkouts.

If I wanted to have been a checkout boy i would have dropped out of school early. It is one of the biggest cons ever that supermarkets make self-checking out more appealing by making the checkouts less appealing by understaffing them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
THIS THIS THIS!

They require less staff to oversee them meaning that the supermarket has less wages it has to pay for manning tills increasing its profits whilst taking jobs away. All that and MAKING YOU THE CUSTOMER DO FOR FREE WHAT SOMEONE ELSE SHOULD BE PAID TO DO. Complete liberty and we just go along with it! Not to mention the SST’s that have screens recording you with their facial recognition. I’ve walked out of such supermarkets that have only had these tills open

I will go to a till that actually has a cashier serving even if it takes longer…

and use cash, I don’t care!
Still doing my bit to delay the new world order

To the poster that asked about people letting you go ahead if you have only a few items in ALDI, that does still happen and it’s refreshing to see. I’ve let others ahead myself and also been allowed to ‘jump’

As mentioned elsewhere, other customers dumping unwanted items wherever regardless of chilled, frozen is just bad manners and laziness. Just makes more unnecessary work for the staff, people only think of themselves.
