Proper managers would resign out of pride.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lol OP you need to relax there isn't a single person in the world which would happily give up millions of pounds when being publicly treated like ETH by his employers out of "pride"
He would be an idiot to hand in his notice. He is doing the right thing. If they want him gone then pay him up the million's he's owed and move him on.
INEOS are coming off very badly here at the moment with the way they've let these stories leak about speaking to XYZ managers. I was hoping the first thing they would do is introduce a policy of being professional but alas it seems they aren't any different in fact probably worse in some respects to what United had before.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have these stories leaked?
Personally, I believe they are just newspaper BS, swallowed whole, by the more gullible
__________
Didn't you a few days back write an article about us supposedly making a late bid for Adarabioyo based on media BS
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I said according to the BBC. I cant 100% be confident their report is 100% accurate, but I make it very clear where the story is from so people can make their own mind up.
None of this vague, 'too many sources for it to be BS' nonsense
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was media "BS" that you wrote an article on expressing your disappointed that we missed out on the player.
The same media "BS" you are criticising other fans for giving credence to in the ETH speculation
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It wasn't BS though. The player has, or will imminently sign for Chelsea.
As for Uniteds interest, I said that was ACCORDING TO the BBC, not that it was fact.

The "BS" was that utd had made a late bid and missed out and you wrote an article expressing yur disappointment

Agree on this.
Poch was never, ever top in the final half of the season. Leicester were top on New Year’s Day and stayed there all the way.
Eh I tell you something else Blackpole, I’d bite your hand off for Ange at Old Trafford too.
Have you seen that interview of his on YT when he’s Australia U21 manager in 2007? The interviewers start laying into him and he fights to defend himself with class and facts.

Won trophies in France, harder to do than with Ajax in Holland, as well as getting Spurs fighting with the big boys despite having no £.
Not sure on Ange but willing to give him another season
Poch would be great for united …..the job he did at Chelsea in the end was excellent , surprised me
He would instil a style of play which united just don’t have anymore

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The "BS" wasn't about him signing for Chelsea
The "BS" was that utd had made a late bid and missed out and you wrote an article expressing yur disappointment
Its the same media you are criticising other fans for believing in
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My disappointment was that a player I thought we should sign, was going elsewhere. Those are facts.
The reported interest from United, may or.may not be BS. I simply shared the report, made it clear where it was from, and at no point did I claim it as fact

" According to the BBC, we made a late attempt, but he favoured Chelsea and had already agreed to move there.
Disappointing we miss out"
This is what you wrote
You referenced the article no different to how other posters quoted their eth sources yet they are gullible fools in your opinion
What's even more laughable is the above BBC article never mentions a failed late bid from utd

What sources are those then?

Poch may or not be the answer. But he's not really done anything to show he's better than ETH.
Still, if ETH is sacked he would be my choice.

How often do we see owners go on TV to make statements re their manager?
++++
all the time
and getting the owner's public backing is usually the kiss of death for the manager

Owners. Who, when?

Poch is a top class manager.
Got Spurs to the verge of greatness with no money, made a UCL final without signing a single player for 18 months etc.
Imagine what he’d do with us at 200+ million to spend every season.
We’d win the lot if we gave him time.
Poch in

Bottle jobbed the league with spurs
Won fack all in the end
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Half right
How do you bottle a league you were never top of ?

United bottled the league to city
Arsenal bottled the league to city
Tottenham never bottled the league as were never in their positions
If Tottenham bottled it that year then so did 18 others

Agree on this.
Poch was never, ever top in the final half of the season. Leicester were top on New Year’s Day and stayed there all the way.
Eh I tell you something else Blackpole, I’d bite your hand off for Ange at Old Trafford too.
Have you seen that interview of his on YT when he’s Australia U21 manager in 2007? The interviewers start laying into him and he fights to defend himself with class and facts.
Proper manager and one I wished we had

He has.
