City above the same rules then?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City’s other clubs don’t play in the same competition as them
That literally makes no sense.
Why does this make me feel it's more likely to be on then? If the will is there from all parties then can't really see the issue unless the fee was a penny or something stupid like that!

Girona have qualified for the CL.
Not sure the situation on Savio though. Was he on loan there from City?
Bull crap, just looking for attention. There is presedent of these transfers happening. If he is so "in the know", why does he not actually explain the rules which are blocking it? Why does no article covering this actually explain why? Because they're all bull shiet.

In that case Jim has to sell Nice ASAP. Not worth all this hassle.
I have no problems with this being blocked. Two clubs shouldn't be able to do business together like that in my opinion. I just wish all the other loopholes would be closed.
City have bought 7/8 other football clubs that don't make any money. There's a reason they did this.
Turns out Savio is owned by Troyes (a club who city own) but that deal can go through as Troyes aren't in the CL this season coming. In fact they been relegated to the third tier.
I mentioned this last week. It was brought up a few weeks ago when Ineos had to clarify things with Uefa.
I read there is also a ban on transfers between clubs in this situation for 3 years after the relationship first commences.
Could understand if it.was a loan, but if a reasonable fee is involved,.then can't see this being upheld.
Why would United pursue a deal if it can't happen?
Why let multi club ownership bit not allow transfers between them?

They do actually. They own Lausanne-Sport in the Swiss league. Not to be confused with Lausanne-Ouchy, who were relegated after too man of their players got hurt.

He’s ‘owned’ by Troyes and was on loan to Girona.
Correct, offically a City player now.

Troyes record signing as well.
He's never played for them.
Eh? You just said City loaned him to Troyes, they didn’t, he’s never been on City’s books.

I was wrong, CFG bought him for Troyes, now City have signed him for next season.
Unless he's loaned out again.
I don’t think it’s been made official that he’s going to City just yet from what I can see.

I suppose they can buy players on behalf of the clubs they own.
I don't know where this multi-club malarky is heading tbh, can't say I'm a big fan of it either.

It's heading down an already murky path.
Surely CFG would be a third party owner, in that it's not an actual football club?
The entry on Wiki (obviously can't be 100% trusted) says he was 'assigned' to Troyes by CFG. That can't be right.
