I'm sure I read he couldn't go directly to City because of his age and work permit problems.

A team that never got to see him play 'paid for him' and loaned him a Tinpot Spanish club. They have now been relegated to the third tier of English football.

What a credit City are to the game of football eh? 🙃

That's the club you'll be supporting when City fold !

Not that I watch Nice but Todibo is evidently fast, strong, really good at carrying the ball and at an age where he could be ready to make a step up to a higher level.

On paper he looks an exciting proposition so it would be a shame if we weren't able to sign him for this reason.

You’d wonder why it matters that we are both in the same competition?

Lazio supposedly up for paying £30m for Greenwood, suitable club for him as they’re both cuuunts.

Yeah but for different reasons. I’m not sure he’s that suitable for Nazio because he’s black.

True

Though I find it hard to believe that Nazio would spend £30m on any player.

If we can get £120 million for Greenwood, Casemiro and Maguire then our transfer fund should be at least half decent (that’s on the assumption we can get £60 million or so from a Saudi club for Casemiro)

posted on 19/6/24

Ps, I’m not saying I necessarily want us to sell Maguire as he’s not that bad but I wonder if Ten Hag even wants him

posted on 20/6/24

Now that Dortmund aren’t getting the Chelsea lad could we persuade them to go for Sancho? I’m guessing the wages are the stumbling block.

We're bidding for Branthwaite, so Todibo is rather seen as a alternative. With a good alternative gone, our hand is weaker in the transfer game against Everton

I struggle to believe that this was a surprise to INEOS. They must have studied the rules.

With my cynic hat on.

Openly court him and the player wants the move and go nowhere else. That essentially makes his 'market value' what Nice and United are willing to deal on. I think I read somewhere that one of the issues would be if other clubs were interested and create a bidding war of sorts.
