From what I’ve heard Shaw is ready to go and should play against Holland (?)

Probably not fully fit as ever but probably dosed up on painkiller injections

I would have thought he would have gotten some minutes yesterday if that were true, would be very bold to throw him into a knockout game
----------------------------------------------------------------------

exactly my thoughts. Surely 20 minutes yesterday was a must if we are going to throw in a player into a Euro knockout match, in a demanding position, who hasnt played competitive football for 4 months

Walker is arguably the best RB in the league, why are people suggesting he should play LB just to accommodate other players?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

because beyond Shaw he's probably our best LB as well !!

This may settle the debate, at least for the next match:

Bellingham has excelled in a deeper role in Dortmund ( and Birmingham) too btw. This season is the first season he has played more advanced. In response to this sudden new collection of opinions that he can’t play deeper, or hasn’t got the technical ability to do so.
