Israel is an illegal occupying force commiting atrocities for the last 75 years. Hamas as both a political.organisation and military group aren't terrorists IMO. They are both groups that have been ignored nationally, regionally and.internationally for decades by the nations that hold the power on the geo political stage. This is what's led to the extremist ideology within the military group of Hamas, they have literally no one to turn to.

They have no recourse for their stolen land or the way their people have been treated by Israel over decades and its allies by proxy.

If your land was stolen and you went to the local police, national police, local and national courts, then international courts and the answer over decades was 'sorry the people who stole your land are our pals, nothing we can do' what would your reaction be?

Do people condemn Hamas for pushing PLO/Fatah members off buildings, targeting and killing Palestinian civilians during that conflict, public executions?

With a Laboyur Government here and a good chance of a Democrat one in the US, we might actually moving closer to a Two Stae Solution in Israel.

Part of any deal would mean free elections in Gaza and the West Bank. I may be wrong but I doubt Hamas would be voted in if there was a truly free, anonymous election amongst the Palestinian population.
