Not aware of anything having changed on Mosquera. GON said he would give him games in pre season then review if he wants to keep him. All the indications are that he has impressed on the tours so hopefully he will stay with us. Having said that, Villareal are still saying they want to sign him

I paid my money to watch the friendlies. Good to see the new guys and what they can offer us. Really surprised the Arsenal game is 3 on a Saturday. Would have thought they would have been certainties for tv coverage on the first day of the season

Hadn’t read about him until today. He’s at the Olympics so guess that wouldn’t progress quickly even if there is interest

Talking of Olympics, Mali were knocked out this week so I wonder when Boubacar Traore will rejoin the Wolves squad. If it’s the same arrangement as with the players at the euros he will get three weeks holiday. So that means he won’t be around until after the season starts

Wouldn't he have taken a holiday prior to the Olympics though? Depending when the Mali side got together of course but I would assume that is what happened.

Maybe, guess the Olympics could in effect be his pre season

Still a lot of talk of Traore being loaned out anyway. Can't say i like that idea but we shall see.

We have a few midfielders now with Bellegarde coming through and Chirewa and Cundle if they’re not loaned out. But in the last month or so of last season I thought Traore was possibly our best player

Not sure on this one. Demoted to the reserve side half way through the season, then loaned out to Olympiakos. I like Mosquera and Toti if we're going for a back 4 with the option of either Santi or Dawson.

Footnote;- According to the BBC, Man City have been fined 2m quid for delaying the start of games over the last two seasons, including re-starts after half time.

Hwang currently featured on PL stories on Sky. 👍

Had a listen to GONs interview with the E&S boys last night, he mentioned that they'd like to sign some PL experience to counter the loss of Kilman. Very much a second eleven then to start the game.

Just about half time and Lima has had two goals ruled out for offside and Palace scored through Schlupp after another Bnetley disasterclass.

Wolves were on top for most of the first half and went behind against the run of play when Bentley slipped trying to clear the ball away, it fell to Schlupp who hit a 30 yarder with an open goal.

Two crosses from Wolves ended with the ball in he net, but Lima offside on both. Good play though from he whole side and Guedes had a good half.

Palace changed their side and looked the fitter and better for most of the second half. Route one pass from their keeper and the Palace forward took the ball well and slotted past King. A frantic last 5 minutes of so in regular time and Wolves managed to grab a goal back from Santi, but were caught out with too many forward and Palace wrapped up the game in time added on.

GON has a very good squad of players and it looks like he going to go with a back 4. Both fullbacks played very high up the pitch, especially Lima. Chico looked very lively when he came on, but I'll be honest and say I don't think Sarabia or Hwang will get many starts. Might be best to try and offload them.

Doyle took the captains armband to start with before Lemina came on in 2nd half.

Palace are certainly becoming our bogey team.

No minutes for Mosquera or RAN.

Not too much can be taken from tonights game but it is looking increasingly likely a back four is the plan.

Taking a flier on our current best eleven then perhaps it is something like this?
