Hopefully means Zirkzee will get games (although not on the tour) and also that we step up attempts to get another CB.

Is Rasmus officially injury prone?

Travel sick.
Facking hell. I am livid.
I saw that Rashford and Anthony also came off injured. Is there any more games of pre season left? If so playing anyone from the first team squad would be suicidal at this point.
It's unfortunate with Yoro but hopefully this will allow him to settle into life in Manchester without the pressure of playing and everyone focussing on him. Not ideal, of course, but just trying to look at a small positive.
Great chance for Zirkzee this to establish himself as the CF. It may even allow us to play like we did towards the end of last season but with the bonus of having an actual forward up there rather than McT.
I can’t see us taking a risk on someone unproven like Zirkzee to lead the attack until Rasmus gets back, what if he also gets injured and we’re back to square one? Got a feeling we’re gonna try for Toney.
Can't see us spunking a load on a striker just because our main one is out for 6 weeks and we never had intentions on buying another one this summer.
I'd imagine our transfer targets will stay the same, which are a CB, fullback and DM.

We did this last season with Hojlund, who is unproven.
But wasn't a striker actually on our list last season, along with a keeper as priorities?
Haven't heard any reputable sources saying that we're after 2 strikers this summer. Zirkzee is more proven than Hojlund was so don't see us trying to get another striker.

Aye and look how the season panned out, I’m hoping we are gonna learn from our mistakes.
Sorry I got confused with Darren's reply. Yeah, if we were happy to play Hojlund then I don't see why we wouldn't start Zirkzee who is more proven.
Given all the other areas we need to sort out, it’s highly unlikely we’ll go out and sign another striker because Hojlund is out for six weeks.
I think we can make do with what we have until Hojlund returns. We did look more solid the last few games at the end of last season I thought. We could do with Rashford having a good season though as well as improved returns again from Garnacho, Amad etc.
I don't care if you're ETH in or out...this bad luck story is wearing thinner and thinner.
Amad and Mainoo for 4 months last year. Now Yoro and Rasmus with the most number of injuries accumulated in the PL season sandwiched in-between.
Bad luck? Nah... not buying it anymore. There's more than just bad luck at play here. Players leaked to the press last season that our training sessions were too demanding and everyone piled on them saying they were crying babies. But look at what happened on matchdays last year. We looked physically shot in a good 70-75% of our games.
Something clearly isn't right.
Will be interesting to see how Rashford performs with Shaw and Zirkzee next to him. We all know how much better Rashford is with Shaw behind him and Zirkzee from what I've read and the clips I've seen seems like exactly the kind of player Rashford will love playing with.
Rashord is at his best playing at pace and on instinct. As soon as he slows down and has time to think he messes up. Zirkzee seems to like a quick one touch fluid style which should suit Rashford to a tee.
I highly doubt our training methods would have an impact on Yoro getting injured so quickly.
Loads of teams struggled with injuries last season, having these pointless tours, playing 62 games in 22/23 and a mid season WC will have all contributed to player fatigue and injury.
Broken foot because of training methods.
If last season is anything to go by that means yoro out for 6 months and Rasmus 12 weeks! Our dreadful medical department is awful on the timescales.
Start as we mean to go on!
